But as you said, heat of the moment. Not to mention there were no security guards from what I could see to stop him, and it would have been dangerous for the witnesses to try to stop him themselves. I've no clue how I would act in this situation. So scary!

@nozomeme tojo its not really a good thing to say people should just do it because someone yell call the cops, many more people in the world will abuse the power of good natured people and do it for no reason my case in point to a video with some teenages who faked a kidnapping of themselves just for fun or the grown woman who posted videos of herself on facebook supposedly kidnapped just for attention i know kidnapping has no link to what was happening with the woman but it is a link to my argument of how people abuse the power at hand. think about all the people in the world young and old who would abuse the power of saying call the cops on said person for any reasons they can think of. Some will do it for fun, some because they can so and so on its best to figure the situation first and do what you can even if the criminal is gone plus stop to think if the people around her have kids or if the criminal in question has a weapon. @Nicole Lucarelli no one did anything because no one knows what's happening, twice as many people that lie than those who tell the truth while i know it seems fucked up for them to do nothing at all its the best case scenerio giving the fact they know nothing other than a woman screaming and chasing a guy without knowing the context that we do, all the strangers see is a woman screaming at a guy who is running very fast away their minds will either put her as the aggressor catching him in some kind of lie or the guy as the aggressor but he's running away doesn't make it better but it definitely says the woman has the upper hand this situation or some other options they made up in their mind so what do you do? more over all in all from what we can see in the film there seemed to be no people very close to her even if she's screaming so once again no one knows what's happening

He honestly could have done anything, potentially taken a child and robbed her even, and nobody did anything. That's the point here.

916 Given the fact it is illegal, then yes, it is a big deal. The video may mot have fully shown it, but Shane was explaining the progression this man used in his conversation with women. Including asking more personal questions about if they would wear it, what would they wear with it, and more than likely all in a very sexual way. This man also came up with a story about having two kids and a wife to cover his dirty plot to prey on just normal women in Target who really didn't know any better. In his apparent confession, he admitted to filming these women for his own gain and pleasure, against their knowledge of course. Also, to put it in perspective, this happened to the same woman TWO YEARS AGO IN THE SAME TARGET. Meaning this creep has been going around for at least two years doing this shit. He confessed to preying on minors also! Eluding to sexual things, or really sexual exposure in most senses, to a minor is, in fact, illegal. Just go and cuss the guy out and leave?? What if he decides to attack afterwords? You clearly don't know how predators work. Anyways, the woman basically did that the first offense. She got uncomfortable and left. Clearly the point wasn't getting acrossed as it happened again two years later. This is the beginning of sexual predators, and what they can look like and how innocent they seem to be until they finally reach a point of wanting more. What this woman did was tried to protect herself and any further women to possibly encounter the man. Doesn't seem like a bad thing to me, at all. I've had this happen to me before, multiple times honestly, while shopping alone and they've never been horrible per say, but a man whose behavior was similar to the man here followed me around the whole store once, asking me personal questions about my life and wouldn't stop, and then slipped in perverted remarks and questions. This is a real thing that happens, that can only lead to worse behavior, and needs to stop being treated as nothing wrong. I mean really. It's stupid and disgusting.

She should have stayed in the store with other people. He could have been caring a gun or a weapon. He could have ran to his car where his weapons were and killed her there. It would have been safer if she stayed in the store.

Shane could literally make me believe I’m a bed sheet

The scariest thing to me about the woman in Target chasing that stalker 2yrs later is that she was yelling “stop that man” while chasing & filming him, you can hear the seriousness in her voice, yet not one single person so much as flinched to consider stopping him. They ran past multiple workers, he even almost bumped 2 male workers at the stores exit & even with her yelling for help, not a single person so much as considered it. For all they knew, he’d just attacked somebody!! It’s not even about her being a woman, it’s about how nobody cares about people anymore. If my man saw someone chasing someone yelling for help to stop them, brace yourself cause you about to get crash tackled & pinned by a giant that’ll ask questions later 😂😂 Anyway, most terrifying thing to me in that is how nobody wanted to help. Certainly doesn’t help make people feel safe knowing if you needed help for any reason & were yelling for it, you’re probably not gonna get it. Pretty shameful 😔😔

I was in 5th grade and I walked out to the bus stop a little earlier then usual because I'm terrified of being late. Normally when I go out to the bus stop two little kids and their grandma would be there, but since I went out earlier they weren't. I sat down on the ground and started playing games on my phone. This small little grey car that i have NEVER seen in my little neighborhood came up to me. There were two grown men in the car with sunglasses on. They had the window down and both of them looked at me really weird. I got nervous and dialed 911 just in case they did something, but as soon as they saw I had a phone, they drove away really, really fast. And now I never go early. Just please, PLEASE, be safe and always cautious of other people!!

Ugh i miss this shane

I have a creepy story: Me and my friends decided we wanted to go to the outdoor mall. We are all 15/16 years old, and there were 6 of us including me. We walked into a store, and we were sitting on a couch while one of my friends returned something. There was a man in a dark grey trench coat with long hair who walked in the store after us, and only one of my friends noticed he "followed" us in there because she felt a bad vibe from him. We didn't think much of it, because this was the first time seeing him. We decided to put it to the test, and we all said "ok let's go now" and he walked out of the store right after us (he didn't buy anything). Since we were in the outdoor mall, there were little "shacks" in the middle and stores on either side, so we walked on one side and saw that this man walked at the same pace as us on the opposite side. We could see he was looking at us in the reflection of the stores windows on the other side. We were so creeped out so we stopped behind one of the bigger shacks, to see what he would do. We looked around the corner and saw him stop and peer his head around the other side to see where we went. We were so scared at that point we walked behind him (he saw us and kept walking in front of us) until we reached a Lulu Lemon store which we ran into and stayed in for a while. He didn't follow us in (cause duh that would be creepy). We waited for a good 15 mins in there. When we decided to leave, we were cautious, and looked out. We started walking away and weren't concerned cause we didn't see him. Then, I turned around and saw him following us again. So, we all stopped and started talking like nothing was wrong. Then we all looked at him at the same time until he noticed that we knew what he was doing. He walked into a sees candy store as we walked away. We had to walk past the window of the store and as we did he was staring at us directly. We continued on when my friend told me he came out of the store and was looking at us from a distance. We then pretended to turn a corner but actually went into another store. We stayed there for literally 45 minutes while staring outside all windows to make sure he wasn't standing outside. We saw him cross the street looking around frantically and walking really fast. We watched him walk all the way down the street until he disappeared. We didn't see him for the rest of the day. S.O. to the people who actually read all of this!!! OMG (and just letting everyone know we are all good and haven't seen him since so it's an unsolved mystery..)

Right? It legit reminded me of the one time I was at the mall and this girl was chasing this guy and yelling "stop him" and I shit you not, me and about 10 other people leapt toward the guy stopping him, and one dude tackled him until security came. Turns out he stole her purse but it was an epic moment I can't believe actually happened lmao.
