That -25% construction speed hurts my eyes tho. Memes aside, Stalin can be managed pretty easily. Getting through the purge without losing anyone but the scripted guys isn't hard. The cult of personality focuses for him are also quite strong.

If you get lucky, and judge the focus right you can get no negative things for army and military, although navy I always throw under the bus, after that is pretty alright

Just remember that Irl the right opposition was going to emphasize consumer goods industries an the expense of heavy industry and reject collectivization and planned economy. Pretty much the reverse is in the game.

I'm so bad at spelling I'm not use to English but what I meant was if you take certain focuses in a certain order you can get eleven advisors.

I managed to achieve this playtrough with independent communist Spain joined the Comintern and Trotskyists got purged along with a few low level generals. Still kept Tukhachevsky and many good ones as well.

@@libextremist Hope I will manage it. Anyway, defending the SU with Rykov in charge now against the Axis, except Japan. So far going good. 150 ish k causalties against more than 300 000 combined of theirs. They haven't taken anything except a few tiles of my territory, though they did take Lithuania, that were on my side, and are doing good in People's Republic of Spain.

@@marcusappelberg369 That's the good thing about him. The core territory defense is amazing. Although I suggest you invade Finland and puppet them. So you can attack Norway with your mountaineers. That way you can naval invade France or their homeland from the rear.

in short dont pick a base of operations when you pick an opposition focus (it will make you spawn close to the victory points) make a 1 arty template give all equpment to spain transform all units to that template start the civil war by making paranoia 100 make a 1 cav template make all arty units you have into that cav conquer all of the ussr fast

@@momentdepression8588 Coup is bad, puts you behind 4 focuses (5 if you infiltrate the NKVD), and is based on rng. Just launch the civil war immediately in 36 and win, no general will make or break your run

@@dmitriysmirnoff8636 Да.Вообще,странно что нет достижений за предотвращение мировой войны.По сути СССР может захватить все фашисткие страны в игре до того,как начнётся мировой пожар. Просто в начале игры марионетишь Польшу,а потом главное подгадать цель войны на рейх,чтобы она оправдалась сразу после аншлюса и можно забирать Италию. Потом остаётся разобраться я Японией,Испанией(там можно помочь республиканцам выиграть и перекатится в коммунизм,но проще сместить Франко) и фашистскими тараканами в южной Америке,которые сами вступают в японо-испанский альянс. Но если бы этот сценарий произошёл в реальности,то ссср и коммунизм стали бы главными угрозами в глазах запада,а фашизм смог сохранить свою благородно-патриотическую репутацию.

@@kaiser8760 The assassination plot is actually fixed from the game start. You can use instant focus to test it. If you failed then just restart the whole game. If you succeed, then use that save to start the game.

Normally I'm an anti-communist liberal, but nothing gives me more pleasure than playing the USSR in this game.
