4:23 so why Germany was split eventually? If Stalin said Soviet Union didn't intend to dismember it?

mykolakanyuk actually stalin did not want a devided germany. he introduced a reunion of the german ocupied zones which was rejected by the allies. the usa wanted to keep westgermany as a puppet state. stalins offer was to make germany a demilitarilized neutral zone with neither superpowers controling it. so it was the wests fault that germany was devided for 40 years

mykolakanyuk Stalin wasn't the ruler of the world. Churchill and Roosvelt had their interest too. Germany was split to avoid another war. Stop being a dick and blame Stalin for everything

Rock Bottom ok. I am from Ukraine. Stalin did to us no good. To say the least. If he didn't want Germany why he took all Eastern Europe?
