Stale or dry bread? You have CROUTONS!
Half a stale baguette, some slices of dry bread - whatever you've got lying around will make for the BEST, crispy croutons! Add them to your salads, soups, or use them as a starter or snack. I make and use these all the time!

Hello. I just tryed it now and it was fabulous, although I made a garlic, lemon Juice, olive oil, parsley mix in a bowl and then I put all dried pieses of bread there and then in the oven 10 min. It is a fabulous family dinner.

Oh wow I bet! I want an airfryer so bad!
Maybe it's the humidity right now but I made mine and they were nice and crunchy and I let them cool then put in an air tight container and they are chewy so I put them back in the air fryer at 200 for 5 min and will try storing once cool... am I approaching this wrong? Any ideas anyone?

Hmmm, that’s a tough one! My best suggestion may be to play around with different containers - if the one you’re using is air tight then it should keep them nice and crunchy but you may be right that the humidity is affecting it, possibly already getting into the container to an extent… If anyone else has a suggestion please chime in! Great to “recrunch” in the air fryer though!

You could probably toss a desiccant packet along with your croutons into your container. I think they sell them online, for people who do home freeze drying.
