This project we used 3,000 lumen brightness single color but dimmable tape light and it’s controlled by a smart home automation system Control4.

American lighting has all the tracks, diffusers, and tape lighting. Great quality . We use Ben as our rep, very knowledgeable
Are you using motion sensing to turn on the lights? Or a regular switch?

It’s set with an automation system, Control4, and turns on 10% at night, when the sun sets, and turns to 60% when the sun rises. It’s nice to have the light through the day.
I really liked the integration of the LEDs but how was the wainscoting done? Measurements and wood info would be greatly appreciated.

We hired a handyman and showed them the design, I’ll try and measure the 1x4 or whatever they used.

@@rustydeeble7482 It looked like a combination of 1x3 and 1x4 with a 1" strip on top as an accent. I have a beveled edge on my base so am going to cut that off and place the led strip on top of that then do the wainscoting. Thank you for your help.
Great project. How do step down the 120 to work with the LEDs?

It’s a dimmable transformer designed for that. American lighting sells it.

In the closet over the hallway, and it’s plugged into a control4 plug in dimmer to power supply
They looked better before. Now they have a cold creepy look to them
