Der Stachus, offiziell #Karlsplatz ist ein Platz im Zentrum Münchens. Er wird halbkreisförmig vom neobarocken Stachus-Rondell umgeben, das 1899-1901 nach Plänen von Gabriel von Seidl errichtet wurde. Über den Stachus fuhren 2022 täglich 41000 Kraftfahrzeuge.
Maxvorstadt is Munich's university district, home to both small galleries and large cultural facilities, including the three Pinakothek buildings, where you can admire masterpieces from different eras in art history. Bookstores and independent boutiques line the streets with student pubs and fashionable restaurants with an extremely varied menu - from Chinese dumplings to exclusive tapas. Green areas include the Königsplatz park, where summer concerts are held and films are shown outdoors.
