Apart from her stunning looks this lady has tremendous talent & I just loved the whole performance.
Congratulations to the Musicians of Frankfurt Radio Symphony for playing this piece with the appropriate baroque style of minimal vibrato, used primarily as ornamentation. Very few modern string players seem to be able or willing to do this. Very nicely done.

Beautifully done! Usually most of the time, we often hear this very concerto performed on the harp. This concerto was also used as part of Handel's opera oratorio called Alexander's Feast during the first act as an intermezzo.

Wonderful. Handel might have been pleased about the playing of his organ concertos at this time. They originally filled a kind of utilitarian purpose when he first performed them.

Lovely! Delightful, both Handel and this masterful Latvian beautiful,so elegant, classy organist. Beautiful clothes and hairdo. A welcome change to some of the " sexy " pianists. She is new to me, I heard her so difficult Bach concerto in D-moll yesterday, my favorite and on organ!! I liked her right away!! Played masterfully and Soulfully. Thank you, Iveta and all involved for making my day better! Just for the Dr.ordered!!🙏🌟🎈

Erfreuliche und wunderschöne Aufführung dieses fein komponierten Konzerts im lebhaften Tempo mit durchsichtigen Tönen der genialen Orgel und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller ausgezeichneten Streichinstrumente. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und auch lyrisch. Alles ist wahrlich inspirierend!

No that it's bad, but you need to know another performances to understand it, for example George Malcolm's, Christian Schmitt's or Karl Ritchter's.

One who, like me, learns Paul Kletzky's Beethoven's Symphonies or ASMF/G MALCOLM's Haendel's Organ/keyboard Ctos by heart, cannot accomodate to other interpretations and remains reserved to interpretations like this one.

Not so. The Opus 4 concertos 289 to 294 were written for organ and orchestra. However, if you are thinking of Nicanor Zabaleta's amazing performance of Concerto No6 then I salute you. It is truly brilliant... 😊
Este concierto siempre lo había escuchado para harpa solista . Buena transcripción al órgano . Le da más dinamismo aunque se pierde la coloratura y precisión en las notas del harpa. De todos modos bravo por Alana

Am I correct in thinking that you do not know much about organ-playing and organists? I ask, because virtually every organist starts with the piano ... then, they see the light and move to the superior instrument! (Piano technique is the basis of organ technique.)

Beautifully played in a nice tempo. I do not like the sound of this organ though, I have heard warmer sounds.

@@87solarsky Thanks. I think it's a problem of phantasy. I can't stand repeated parts in music ( just to fill up the space and make it longer). I know Jan Akkerman / complete guitarist does that too, but he makes time changes everywhere si that it gets very interesting. I sang the Messiah... And after that the love was over.... No problem, there's more music in heaven.
