Stage 9 Soundtrack - "Second Star to the Right"
In January of 2018 I was asked to compose music for a 3:39 second vignette to showcase the amazing work that the talented developers of a virtual starship had been working on. Here's the result, enjoy!

It is a pity that we never saw the Main Shuttle Bay being used for launching/receiving shuttlecraft in the TV series, really looked forward to that. Thanks for the visual feast!

Best of Both Worlds pt2 shows Worf and Data take a shuttle from the main shuttle bay. They only used that shuttle bay as the saucer and star drive were split at the time though

Yes, they could've used a matte painting.
Man, when the TMP "Enterprise" cues hit, they hit perfectly!
Stage Nine could design their own fleet of starships.
Paramount stopping Stage 9 was such an own goal. Whatever beancounters made that happen do not understans fostering fan engagement.

@@TrekzoneMedia yeah, but this wasn't that. It wasn't disrupting an existing or planned project, and it wasn't for profit. The savvy response wouldn't be a cease-and-desist; it would be "let's make this official." Like Steam and Black Mesa, for example.

Surprising coincidence. The Singer Edoardo Bennato sings: “Seconda stella a destra, questo è il cammino…” that means: “Second star to the right, this is the walk…” 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
I watched the very first episode of Star Trek in 67. This is not the Enterprise i know, as far as the music goes well done! has Star Trek written all over it

Oh, I guess this USS enterprise is somehow back in time! Because the Earth has no sign of artificial lights in the dark hemisphere of the planet, so I guess there’s no humans on it..

Is nice but still kinda feels like playing with lighted toys, not much “presence” to the images.
This just does not work with the Galaxy Class...The ugliest version of Enterprise ever...

@@leekeyser1968 totally get you,. I’m the same. First time I saw it (also at 18 when it first got aired) I thought it looked forced and not as Starship as the old Constitution class. And I just nicked the line from Picard where no one wanted to buy the Enterprise -D souvenirs. Not a pretty ship.
