On my ‘24 RG I did the SE stage ll with their 511 cam, the wedge AC, and Bassani 2into1 exhaust. Dyno tuned with the SE street tuner. My dealer provides the Forever warranty on the drivetrain so that’s why I went this route. This setup really rips! I have a ‘17 street glide with a fully built Moonshine Horsepower 131” so I know fast bikes. The 511 cam is the same cam that’s in the CVO RG ST. This is well worth the $ if you don’t wanna risk losing your warranty. My dyno numbers were 125HP/133Tq on a warm humid day!

You are not correct about voiding warranty. It all depends where you live and whom owns your Harley dealers. Here in Las Vegas we have 3 huge Harley stores. As long as the cam shaft as example is EPA COMPLIANT and the Harley service department installs , like fueling moto CR473 cam, and even when they dyno tune that cam your warranty is NOT voided. Again this is a call by your local dealer and not the company. You live in an area with shit weather and sounds like not so great dealers. You need to move out here and all those problems go away like magic.. left NY 25 years ago never looked back..

John, warranties will not be void by Harley by using aftermarket parts and or services. Here is a bit that I copied from the lawsuit against Harley. Now they can void in the case of say you do a stage 2 upgrade with a non Harley part and say the cam explodes than they can void the warrant. In light of the findings, the FTC directed Harley Davidson to continue the warranty even if the motorcycle owner customizes the motorcycle with third-party aftermarket parts.

I don't own an HD but I was sure I read that HD had to change their warranty policy based on the lawsuit findings. I was a little confused when John said void policy was still in effect.

Loving this build so far. Thanks for going step by step & explaining the value/importance of the SE tune & parts vs voiding the warranty and going for all out power. I'm also a huge fan of the daily rider sound vs noise output of this build. People who are into extremes and don't ride long distances won't appreciate it but we get it.

Thank you for this, was thinking about the wedge air cleaner but didn’t think the HD tuner would do very much. From your result I think I will do the stage 1 now . Also, really appreciate your demonstrating how to do the tune using the HD tuner, seems really simple

K&N makes a black die for their filter elements. It totally would compliment Blackjacks colors perfectly!!!

Black oil? That's all the red is, it's just the color of the oil. Once you clean the filter the cotton goes to it's normal color which is white.

@@jasonp1177 exactly, and they sell a black tinted oil for those who would prefer a black filter rather than the red.

Like the tuner super easy to get it done. Screaming eagle Aced it on how easy they did this... If I had a new bike I would definitely keep the warranty... Great vid..👊👊

I would expect the HD-SE Stage-1 upgrade to increase power by around 10%, and possibly as much as [up to] 15%, along with improved throttle response, etc. Don't have any Dyno numbers (and more importantly the Curves), but here's the Actual SAE Dyno results (at the Wheel), 2024 Road Glide, Stock versus HD-SE Stage-2 (SE Extreme Wedge Air Cleaner, Slip-on mufflers, & SE Tuner): Stock: 94.04 wHP @ 4640 rpm. 118.45 w/Ft.Lbs. Torque @ 2980 rpm. Stage2: 119.5 wHP @ 5440 rpm. 131.02 w/Ft.Lbs. Torque @ 3920 rpm. And very nice, linear curves. Pretty darn good considering this maintains both Warranty & Emissions Compliance. Just saying. Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!

Thank you! I demo'd the 24, and it is really peppy vs my 2017 (M8 107). Will see what the '25 colors look like. Glad to hear the slip ons, and that cleaner looks AWESOME! Stage 1, IMO, is just enough to wake it up & still have cordial neighbors. As a side note.... I used to commute that road (208/17), almost every day. Miss BCHD, but not the commute.

Good safe upgrade. Congratulations, go put the 10k on your trip, then if budget allows, stage 2... BUT DO A SKUNKWORKS , Baxter upgrade with cam, lifters, pushrods, valve springs, bigger injectors, 2 into 1 exhaust, clutch basket kit, compensator , a jims fan/horn and vent the tranny case. 👍

If they made the element facing out black, I would like it a lot better, and you can look at the other one to see how dirty it is and clean them both when needed. Good video!

That air cleaner does look 👍 The stage one is all I would do, plenty of power I'm sure 😎😃 Too bad they can't make an air filter design that you don't have to worry about rain getting in it and having to put a sock over it, that's the only downfall I have about it. But looks and performs great! 😁👍

Looks good, will be doing the wedge and KW 2 into 1 on my 23 RG CVO. The wedge looks good! I think I'm going with the black oiling kit to turn the filter media black for a better match on the Dark Platinum. Looking forward to how you do against Sammy. Thanks for posting!

I did the stage 1 and got 48.5 mpg on my way home from Tennessee hand calculated. The tune made a big difference.

Nice intake!! Gotta get the K&N filter cleaner and oil they get dirty quick if you oil it too much that red oil drip for a couple days all over the bike remember that lol ask me how I know! Good stuff brother have fun!!

I did the black wedge aircleaner and love the look. I also just switched to the black K&N filter oil.

If you use the black K&N oil on the filter, it looks even better on the bike. I have the same filter on my bike and it made a tremendous difference over the pink color K&N filter.

I have the same air cleaner on my Stage IV 131 RGS…love it.

It is nice, but I'm not crazy about the looks of the breather but the functionality of it looks like it would hard to beat! I seen one tested on a dyno and it almost matched the performance of no breather at all!

Did the license plate as you suggested from Custom Dynamics, and now going to do the stage 1 screaming eagle...adjusted my shocks as you suggested ...no bottoming out now....

I installed slips on s&s perfomance muffler my nightster special 2023 the sounds and torque insane might more power.

The bike does sound different and the air cleaner looks really good 👍🏾

Harley did a great job on this air cleaner. I’ve heard dyno tuners say they haven’t found the limit for horsepower on this air cleaner.

It would be killer to see the 24 Rg against a few other bikes. 114 stg2, CVO or ST 117 and even a low rider st. Get a good comparison of the motor, the weight reduction and even aerodynamics. Im digging my 24.

The air cleaner design is killer, would have been cool if the outer face was Black and Chrome.

Have them checkout Earpiece ear protection. Get the highest decibal reducing. East to loose though. lol You can still hear everything but zero ear ring when your done riding.

Awesome video man. I just might trade my 19 one of these days. My only concern w that air cleaner is on long road trips and it getting wet? Maybe not a problem. I’ll have to ask about that if I ever consider.

Technically no one can void a warranty period they can decline a warranty claim but they are supposed to prove whatever u used caused the problem might have to fight but it does pay to go around your dealer and at least get a few things from them and relationship makes world of difference

2021 Road King here. I just did V&H slip-ons, a SE intake, and the SE tuner. Runs way better than stock...I think.... placebo effect? I'm looking to do the Auto Tune over the the next few runs but I'm worried that it will shut off the oil cooling fan that i just had Garden State Harley enable for me.

I’m considering doing the same upgrades. I just ordered a set of TAB Performance slip ons. I’m just confused on the settings because only the SE pipes are listed. I watched what you did and will do the same thing. I will probably never go past stage II on my 2024 Street Glide. Is the turner worth the money? How much would a dealer charge for a tune. Bike looks great!

Ok you can get the KW baffles there are 2 types from KW the more expensive ones because once you get the 475 Cam also get the HPI intake manifold your bike will be very loud! with also your bike will be faster than you can believe but i have the thunder max tuner with the oil cooler fan from Thunder Max their tuner is already flashed for the fan,

I don’t put it in custom mode in the twisties too much response 😂

Enjoying your channel and need a little guidance. I’m ready to do a stage 1 on my 2024 Street Glide. I ordered TAB Performance Slip ons with medium baffles, plan to purchase the screaming eagle pro street turner and the wedge air filter. The exact same things you did. I went to my local dealer today to ask a few questions and was told it was highly recommended I replace the head pipes too. I don’t want to do that. I know if the head pipes have no CATs my warranty will be voided. Just want to check again and see how everything is functioning. My plan is put on the TAB slip ons, install the extreme wedge air cleaner, install the turner and use the app to retune. Sound like a good plan?

The screen stops counting at 117 or 119 Other day I was pegged at 120 A brother said he was at 130 and I was pulling away fast so musta been 140+ I’m suprised the screen didn’t show actual mph 2023 FLTRX (standard) 124 SS CR482 cam Fkn thing comes on at 3000 or so.. realllly comes up 3500 Pulls stupid hard til I shift

Hey John, Did you the automatic tune? I saw that after you program it , you can go into auto adjust which tracks how you ride and then it fine tunes it more based on riding style

Yeah, well I got bad news for you. Even though your bike might not be loud you best be in front of those guys because their exhaust is going to drive you crazy lol. I have a 2019 ultra Limited with stock exhaust and love it but all the guys that I ride with have those stinking straight shots and after riding behind those guys for a while I want to stick a fork in my ears lol

My stage one at 2000 ft elevation on the dyno makes 99 rw hp. But it feels way faster then that. It's close to the stage 4 I had in my 21

John, isn’t that large void area in the center of the NEW air filter area, doesn’t this present an opportunity for dirtier air to enter the system? The wedge system seems designed short against a larger air draw small sides filter matter available by its own design…

117 with the SE511 and the SEPST has yielded excellent results It’ll best a 114 and 475 all day on PV I think the 117 m8 that u got on se stage 1 will walk away from that 114 475 .. not by a bus length or anything but will get past it
