que lindo, yo tengo uno de 1 mes y 23 dias y por lo pronto entiende lo que es "fuera", "no", y se sienta para que le den la comida, y hace caso cuando se le llama.

Yo tengo un staffy de mes y medio y la verdad que es super juguetona con mi otra perra ( bulldog frances ) y con nosotros tambien, lo que pasa es que no hace mucho caso, no se si sera porque haun es muy pequeña y a demas muerde mucho, jejeje.... se pone a jugar y solo muerde. Me gustaria que me pudieras dar algun consejo para la educación de mi Telma, para que muerda tanto y para que haga un poquito mas de caso. Muchas gracias!

Super awesome my next Staffie I'd like to train to do more tricks. My 3 year old staffie I have now knows all the basics amd he's pretty good with agility. However, when I get a female I want to train her more and show her in dog shows.

It is patience and pesistence, make the training fun and reward all good behaviour, never punish the bad! There are many training videos that can be found on you tube to teach your dog the tricks shown here :-)

Oh thank you I missread the description badly. I am looking forward to get a dog but I am doing it carefully because I wouldn't like to regret anything. As I said my friend has a English Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she's a female and quite small. I believe American ones can get pretty big and since I am willing to get a male English one, I would kinda wonder how big do they get usually. But for sure they are smaller than american ones

OHH MY GOD How did you do that? I got a 4 month old staff puppy and I was sooo motivated by this video. I thought she´ll be the same with 14 weeks :D I put a lot of effort in her training but the only thing she knows by know is sit, down (only if I put my hand to the ground) and paw...:O HOW DID YOU TO THAT!!!!??? Amazing

So cute! I have a question since he is 14months old he is reaching his top size I am guessing and latelly I have been looking for a dog to get. I wonder if somone knows main difference betwen american and english staffordshite bull terrier. I have a friend that has a english one and the english ones seem to be a little smaller wich would be better for my place where I live. Any responds are welcome :)

en cuanto te haga mas atencion, hay un metodo muy bueno!! es el siguiente, coges una recompensa en una mano, se la enseñas al perro, que el le preste atencion a esta, entonces la separas de tu cuerpo, el perro instintivamente se va a quedar mirando fijamente tu mano separada de tu cuerpo, entonces, dices su nombre, alto y claro, puede tardar, en cuanto el perro deje de mirar por un instante el premio, dices muy bien y se lo das, poco a poco, iras consiqguiendo que el perro te mire a los hojos.

hola, si tienes un apartamento, mejor buscate un staffy, ya que el amstaff es mucho mas grande y necesita mas espacio para disfrutar, el staffy es mas casero, se adapta muy bien a un piso.

I believe the dog is 14 weeks, not months. I own a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (the English type) and he is 10 years old, 37lbs. American Staffordshire males would be 60lbs. or more, easily.

hola, es normal que tu staffy no te haga mucho caso aun, ya que segun lo que me cuentas tiene caracter dominante y nervioso. debes antes de nada evitar la mordida, es decir jugar con tu staffy con la mano, picarle, y cada vez que el te muerda mas o menos fuerte, tu exclamaras en alto, auuuuuuu. despues detendras el juego durante unos segundos largos, despues puedes retomar el juego con ella. Asi se percata, si muerdo no hay juego. espero haberte ayudado.

Time over matter. Continue to do the tricks and eventually she/he will be as advanced. Tip though, do not spend hours a day doing tricks because the dog will get bored. Would love to see how your pup is doing
