Stafford All Night Freight Night - 20th-21st June 2014

It's time for another freight nightout....this time taking us to a not often visited station in Staffordshire.. That's right we take to the tracks and settle down for a All Night Freight Night here at Stafford. The night started well then we encountered a few dead spots during the busy times.Needless to say the was plenty of the shed action including many appearing 70s.

Great quality video and it's good to see the whole train go bye each time.

Superb footage there, 10 out of 10 for variety, quality, and endurance! I've only seen all night footage from here filmed from the car park during the station closing hours - so I guess you're in the trade somewhere :-) Looks like well worth doing sometime for sure, although for me it would have to be during a week off work and with one or two extra camera batteries! Hadn't realised I wasn't subbed to you, so have remedied that one.

Thanks you for the nice comments. Yes Stafford is a great place for a mix of traffic. Normally everyone leaves the station around 23:45 but I stayed on for a extra 15mins. Where they close the station for a few hours for cleaning ect. I know a few people in the trade :). Another visit for Stafford will be next year.

Your allowed on the station until the last service departs which is around 23:45 ish and allowed back on for the first service at 05:00.
I see you had a fair amount of freight and 3 railtours. Good video mate will have to let me know in advance when you plan on doing another that way I can get it off work. Busier here on a Monday night and Tuesday nights

I did one back end of October last year be prepared to wrap up it was not the warmest and was windy too. Are you doing any Preston nighters anytime soon?
