Stadiums' Retail Transformation with RFID Full Case Study

Ғылым және технология

See the full case study on how Stadium used SML's Clarity® and full deployment of Item-Level RFID technology across 180 retail stores
by late 2021 - RFID tags, handheld RFID readers, labels, and the Clarity software
suite from SML. Sweden’s sports retail chain Stadium was able to count its stock of
30,000 items once a week instead of once a year, as was done previously, and increase
its inventory accuracy from 70 percent to 99 percent, representing a dramatic
increase in sales.

I have mixed feelings about this kind of thing. I think this should be used in all these stores in places like Portland that refuses to enforce laws. Basically you have to have a card on file in order to go into the store and then anything that leaves the store with you automatically gets charged to your card on file. I like the fact that this would reduce the theft but I don't like how it would be more government tracking and a reduction of a cash society.
