Virtually everything the RCM puts out is fantastic quality and just as beautiful! GREAT purchase decision! I really want one of their 100 ozt bars.

I agree. The RCM has the best silver products hands down.

I really like those RCM bars. I remember buying several of them back when they were around $170 each. I have several of them with the eBay logo on top as well. It was kind of a joke in the Stacking community when they first came out but I’ve noticed they sell today for a pretty healthy premium. Goes to show, you never know..

Excellent video. As precious metals experts have said, it won't really matter what form of silver you hold when things collapse. The RCM 10 oz silver bars are not only beautiful, but they are produced by a government mint as well as being 99.99 pure silver. Thanks for posting.

@@pauld2913 it might happen but I can tell you if it ever does “and the likelihood is it won’t be until a complete dollar collapse” there will be a lot more to worry about than the gold and silver you have. You don’t need to stack gold and silver for a collapse. I mean you can but those are the wrong reasons to stack imo.

I started out with Sunshine mint bars, then moved to Britannia bars and then Royal Canadian mint bars and now I'm buying Germania mint bars. I did buy a couple monster boxes, a silver eagle and a Britannias but I like the bars.

Right now I can get a serialized .9999 Nadir 10oz bar for $218, but an RCM bar costs $260. A difference of $42. For people who have lots of money an extra $42 is no big deal, but to a silver stacker that's *almost* two more ounces of silver you could pick up for the same price. I just can't justify that premium.

You get glorified stackers, then you get practical stackers. One burns far more money than the other for far less silver. They don't want to admit how much money they burned with less silver to show for it in the end. 😂

I think it really comes down to - what are you stacking for? It seems to me like if one planned to potentially liquidate - I think the mint/government/trust factor really determines how fast/efficient you can do that.

@@thedustytrail2915 If I wanted to liquidate both a nadir and an RCM bar, I'd walk into my local coin shop and they'd buy them both. If it was post-shtf, anyone who can physically verify one can physically verify the other. If it gets down to someone just saying "I don't think your Nadir bar is real silver", then they can go kick rocks. There's gonna be so many ACTUAL fakes out in circulation at that point that any of the fast verification methods will verify it. The first reply really nailed it. Either you have money to burn, or you don't. And the people burning their money will always try to find a way to justify it. They'll spend the extra $$ to get all RCM bars, then when they need to liquidate them fast they'll find the one person who doesn't like bars or products from Canada and won't take them. The idea that if you pay a higher premium for something now it'll automatically be worth more later is a crap-shoot.

SSE, the RCM 10 oz Silver Bars’ serial number is for your insurance. You can print on a letter and send it by certified mail to yourself (don't break the certified mail seal, only a person of legal authority should break the seal in the verification of ownership preceding). Yes, update the document, and package and send another certified mail each time your inventory changes.

The first silver i ever bought were 6 10oz rcm bars, loved em so much i had to get 4 more to make it an even 10 a couple weeks later. Only 2 months after i first bought but still hands down my favorite and probably will be for a long time ❤❤❤

I was the same way, only bought coins. Then i bought a 1 kilo for the hell of it. Once you feel that weight in your hand, you'll know why bars are so awesome. Bars are also accepted as money by regular people who don't stack. I've shown many coins to people and they think they're cool and all, but not the same reaction with eyes bugging out when I drop a bar in their hand and not expecting it to be so heavy. They assume a kilo is worth $50,000 or something. Which maybe they aren't wrong, that's what the true value should be.

RCM bars are in my not for sale stack. Along with the 10 oz Britannia these are my favorite bars. Took awhile to collect so not letting go anytime soon. Hope to pick up a few more of the RCM sometime soon.

I love the RCM bars, even though they carry a larger premium now.

My strategy is that i generally stick with generic rounds, bars... i figured im not selling for many years and If I sell for spot/near spot in the future, especially if triple digit silver is expected....I made a huge profit and I dont want to worry about premiums, or selling collectibles privately/through Ebay etc...just the ease of unloading at an LCS when needed and when I'm ready to sell..I'm one of the people who buys as close to spot as possible and has the mind set silver is silver....BUT those are some nice bars ngl!

I too have enough sovereign 1 oz silver coins. But, recently I bought a box (15) of British Mint 10 oz coins, and just pulled the trigger on a 1 kilo PAMP silver bar.

Where do you tend to buy the 10 ounce bars and 10 ounce coins?

I really like the RCM bars, but I tend to go for the lowest premium I can find. IGR, Nadir, and Hereaus have lower premiums lately and come with serial numbers and assay cards so I feel comfortable with them. But I agree the RCM's are more desirable. Just a matter of being willing to pay more for them.

Just received yesterday a 500 gram germania mint bar. Basically comes out to a hair over 16 troy ounces. I have one more on the way. Remember a troy pound is 12 troy ounces. A 16 ounce pound comes out to 14.58 troy ounces. A kilo bar is 1,000 grams or 32.15 troy ounces and one troy ounce is 31.103 grams. Can be confusing but not that hard to figure out.

Well, I personally believe the above ground GSR is around 1:1. So you can gauge from there. Regardless, gold and silver is not traded in a free market so no one truly knows their purchasing power. This is all beginning to shift though however in my opinion!

I'm honestly trying to get to around 150 oz. Of 1oz. Or less coins, rounds, bars, and constitutional. Then I'm gonna go bar heavy to get the weight up a bit quicker.

I believe that the reeding on the edges is to prevent somebody shaving a slice off of the edge?

My online dealer is out of bars. Only selling pre sale bars that will be delivered later. It's insane that I can't buy silver bars but spot price doesn't move. This manipulation has to break.

Being that I'm in Canada, I usually only buy from the RCM. Normally I buy a 100oz 9999 bar for every 100 oz's in silver coins I buy to lower my overall price per ounce. I didn't follow my own advice this time around and just bought a 100 oz bar on sept 1st, all cus I didn't feel like buying as much and wanted to get some gold too. I've ended up paying for it, cus maples have gone crazy. With the premiums being up so much atm that Im actually considering kangaroos instead. Plus gold went down again so I was able to buy more; but not silver coins.... (yet) Therefore my method, if followed, works. Im also thinking of getting some eagles seeing as the rumour is they are barely being produced this year. (atleast from what I've heard about the US mint and their new diversity hire.)

You are going to get spot for your silver when you sell it. Plan on it and buy generic instead. Germania and Golden State Mint are good options at a lower price.

Love the RCM bars, I have some and have a couple of the 10 oz Britannia bars as well as many other types of 10 oz bars. These RCM bars are by far some of my favs. but again, those Britannia's are beauties and love them too. I just ordered another 10 oz Britannia and getting ready to pull the trigger on another RCM. Keep stacking my friend!
