STACK A 2-TIER CAKE | THE FLOUR GIRL
Comin atcha with another tiered cake! This one features 6 and 8-inch layers. Some structural tips 👇🏼
🛠️ Flat layers: mine bake flat which helps ensure a straight, perfectly stacked cake
🛠️ Refrigeration: chill your tiers well after crumb coating and after their final coat so you’re working with stable cakes
🛠️Supports: i use bubble tea straws cut to size in the bottom tier. This is what the top tier will sit on
🛠️Central Board: the top tier sits on a board the same size (or smaller) than itself and has a precut hole in the centre to accommodate the central dowel. This board sits on top of the straws to help with support and structure
