Dang I didn’t even know people upgraded these triggers. Every example I’ve picked up had an amazing stock trigger.

That triggers an upgrade for appearance only and voids the warrenty to install one .. taking the grips off is a no no If you're going to do it, install a red dirt trigger. Use their size chart.

@@name_less7687 yeah I honestly don’t even see a reason to upgrade the trigger. It’s probably the best stock trigger I’ve ever felt.

@@jeffwilliams3436 Maybe it varies gun to gun, since they are all fit by a person. I was pretty dissatisfied with mine in my model p being that it was a $2,300 gun. So I put a red dirt in it. There was probably about an 1/4 inch of travel on mine and almost all of it was pretravel. Now there's about 1/32.. I didn't change the weight. I don't know what the weight is but it feels good to me. I also love flat triggers. I'm sort of surprised that staccato doesn't use better triggers.. A lot of 1911's and revolvers have a hair trigger out of the box. A metal trigger is nice to have too, the polymer thing really surprised me. Was this your first 1911 style gun? I mean a Springfield milspec has a better trigger than my staccato did out of the box. Compared to a glock or well.. any striker gun .. of course it was way better than them.

@@name_less7687 I don’t own a P…but I shot a Springfield Garrison 9mm back to back with it and was shocked at how good the trigger in the P was. Minimal take up and short reset. That being said Springfield 1911s are fantastic out of the box. Though I didn’t care for their Emissary model.
Does this remove some of the trigger travel?
I appreciate you. Very helpful tutorial. 🫡

Glad it was helpful!
Is this THE Tebun? 🥵🥵
Why on every other video mainly grip swapping they take apart the whole gun IE hammer, saftey, ETC but not you? I would assume if im just swapping frames I could do exactly what you did and leave he hammer and safety installed right??

If i dont have to do it im not going to. but i guess everyone has their own way of doing it. I have been doing 1911s for 12 years and 2011s for the last 3. same same.
I assume this procedure would be similar, if not the same for pretty much all 2011s / 1911DSs..?

Hey man I wanted to ask a question. I had this trigger installed by somebody but I’ve been having problems with it. The trigger gets hard at the bottom but crisp when I pull it from the top. And at times gets stuck and doesn’t pull no matter how hard. What could be the problem ? Or is that how the trigger is supposed to be ? Btw nice video ! I’m taking it apart myself with your video💯

Check your sear spring placement
Can the mag release be removed by itself? Or all the prior steps in this video must be done first?
@TBunInd

you can remove it by itself
What’s the pull weight on the trigger? Same or 2 pounds like the some of the Atlas guns?!
@TBunInd

no youll have to get the ignition kit to mess with the weight. trigger shoe is just preference
How much do these triggers bring down the trigger wait. My staccato p trigger is just way too heavy.
@TBunInd
2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't, to bring down pull weight you'll have to mess with the sear spring, mainspring and sometimes the sear itself.

@@TBunInd Triarc website states that it requires fitting. Was it difficult? I've only dealt with polymer guns and drop in parts. I just got C2 and my short fat thumb can't reach that factory release.

Does this trigger just drop right in or did you have to cut the grip to get it to fit? I want to install this on my XC
