how do you secure a moving head like chauvet 355

Of course it's stable when your stood on the base plate it would be a different story if it got pushed without anyone standing on the base plate.

Paul Knight Well for someone to push it over by accident, they'd wind up stepping on the base plate. Unless you're concerned about someone pushing it on purpose. Let us know!

***** That's just not true. many times I have seen drunk people trip and fall head first into things and try to break their fall by putting their arms out towards anything that looks solid. Especially when playing tunes like Bill Medley and Jennifer warns - Ive had the time of my life. there is always someone that tries to do the lift like in dirty dancing and more often than not end up toppling over and if your totems aren't weighted down or supported enough they will go flying and if like me your moving heads cost several thousand each you need to be 100 sure they are safe and secure.

We agree, and for high end moving heads, we recommend drilling the top plate. I think we'll do a video on this as well. Good thinking!

I agree, If someone falls into it, without stepping on the base plat, it will turn over. Drunks do the darnedest things.
