Lyrics:
You make it hard to breathe
It's as if I'm suffocating
And when you're next to me
I can feel your heartbeat through my skin
It makes me sad to think
This all could be for nothing
I wish there was a way
For you to see inside of me
I've never felt this way
About anyone or anything
Tell me
What do I have to do to make you happy?
What do I have to do to make you understand?
What do I have to do to make you want me?
And, if I can't make you want me
What do I have to do?

Without a doubt! i was 13 when they came out in '94 and thought they were brilliant after buying Ungod !! it was nice to see them have a good run through the 90's ! This album and Darker Days started getting some shine and the music was undeniable !! Still underrated by a Million miles but it was nice to see some others in my generation digging them and getting into their music !!

The 60's had great music, some of the best ever. It can't be argued, and the same can be said of the 70's. The 90's also had huge movements in music history. There are historically significant bands in all of those decades. No doubt. The difference is, the 90's had so much more to offer. There is no comparison really, the decade was a vast ocean of great music across so many genres. The immense catalog of great music in the 90's dwarfs the 60's, 70's and can only really be challenged by the 80's and even then, the 90's are like the Energizer Bunny and the list just keeps going and going and going.. I'm still discovering bands from the 90's that I hadn't heard of.

Let's see, very similar thrashy guitar tone; listen to that synth tone (and then listen to the synth line at the end of "Terrible Lie" by NIN); very angsty vocal minus any particularly interesting observations lyrically (not that Trent Reznor was groundbreaking lyrically, but the dude didn't give a fuck when it came to making you feel a particular line).

I was obsessed with them in the 90’s, I was young like 13 or 14. But back then you could look at the addresses on the CD’s, and actually write to them . I wrote Stabbing Westward, they are the only band out of probably the 10 or 12 I wrote to that sent me an autograph poster and a bunch of other things. They were the only one that appreciated, a fan took time out of their day to write them and just tell them how amazing they are. They weren’t like other bands, they really did appreciate their audience.

People stopped paying for great music. So now there is a vast ocean of underground and indie music, which you can listen to for free online anytime, but you won't have a lot of people to share the experience with. The well-known and popular music is extremely commercialized and over-produced, much of it is essentially pornography or junk food getting recycled over and over.
