I really enjoyed learning about St Winefride and her well! Karadoc was very bad and it’s great he went down and was never heard from again. Wonderful to hear about her uncle, and the church and the well. Wonderful to learn about the long history of pilgrims and healings that have taken place there. Fantastic Anna and Alf. My Grandmother’s name was Winifrede and she was a Lady who always blessed others. When Missionaries would come home they’d always come looking for Grandma because of her letters of encouragement. This was a wonderful video and greatly appreciated…

Ah thanks so much and wow Don I loved this story, that's special to hear of your grandmother of the same name, we have known ladies like her that would write to encourage missionaries and though we were only in England working for short term as ' missionaries ' we would be encouraged by people like your grandmother who would email us and text us with support and pray for us , and one woman in particular was like this .That is a ministry in itself. Thanks for sharing this 💜🙏

That was VERY fascinating! I absolutely believe in the healing, and delivering, power of God. I remember a motorcycle ride I took up to Wisconsin many years ago. I saw a monastery on top of a beautiful hill and went up to check it out. The place, and the views from it, were astounding, and there was such an intense feeling of peace. Inside of the chapel area there were crutches, eye patches, wheel chairs, leg braces, etc all over the place, and nobody around. I walked around until I found a monk, friar, priest, whatever he was called living there, and he told me how people had come from all over the world to visit that place with various ailments. This was many years ago and I forget the entire story he told me, but basically, people would come at a certain time and the healing power of God would stir in the place. He said that people would just drop their crutches and start jumping around and dancing, while voicing their praise to God for setting them free. He told me that a few months before I was there, he saw a man that had been in a car accident and was paralyzed from the waist down, he come in, start to sob, then laugh, then laughed uncontrollably, then he just got up out of his wheel chair as his wife and children broke down in tears with joy. When he and his family started walking away, another person there suggested he take is wheel chair with him "just in case." The monk told me the healed man said, "Why, do you think that God is just teasing me? Do you think he would heal my body only to put me back in the chair later? No, with all due respect, God is not the kind of God that would be so cruel. I don't, and never will, need that chair again, if you know someone that might need it, it is yours to take." The man looked a bit embarrassed at that and left the chair, too. It was still sitting there as a testimony to what God had done. Hallelujah!!!

Tenn that was amazing to hear all of this , that monastery sounded beautiful and here at the well there is a museum where crutches have been left when people got healed too. God still does miracles today 🙂🙏 Thanks for sharing that and for watching :)

We are blessed to know about this holy well of Saint Winefride that can miraculously heal the sick. We believe in the healing power of holy water too. We used to go to Basilica of Our Lady San Juan del Valle in Texas, where a fountain of holy water is said to be miraculous. We always brought containers and fill it up with holy water and took it home. Thanks Anna for sharing this wonderful story❤️

“Well” that is quite the sad story of Winefride having her head chopped off and causing a flow water . Yikes! My mother was a believer in holy water/healing water, she would have took some home for sure. It’s a very beautiful building. I can see why this place is one of the seven wonders of Wales and a place of pilgramage for many who seek healing. Wow 7th century, i can't even imagine what life was like at this site. Wow the water flow continues to flow at 2:35. It's a lovely site, well researched my dear as always. 💚💚🎯🎯
