How come radio stations don't play music like this in San Antonio,TX. I mean she is from Texas ...
@renouncedequation3923
5 жыл бұрын
You've gotta listen to 91.7(Trinity University) after dark, 89.9(Texas State) or 93.3(San Antonio College) radio stations, they'll play her stuff. Though 89.9 is in San Marcos, but the other two are also college radio stations based out of San Antonio.
@renouncedequation3923
5 жыл бұрын
You also have to understand the foundations of San Antonio. Military, and conservative are a major part of the identity. Then you have Latino, and urban culture/art being predominant. After that you have the hard rock/metal community which is most prevalent when it comes to rock. The alt stuff doesn't have a very big market outside of the hipster community. You've gotta understand the history of 99.5 Kiss. Joe Anthony is the one responsible for brining, and making metal/hard rock so popular. During the 90's Kiss used to be more diverse as they were having to compete w Austin's 101X(Their signal used to reach San Antonio all the way down to the downtown area), when their signal no longer reached San Antonio Kiss no longer had to stick to that format. Just try out the options I suggested, or you can download some streaming apps for other radio stations around the country. Just be happy that you live somewhere that plays rock music. It may not be your fav, but at least it's current. Where I live there really are no modern rock stations. Everything that's current is either pop, trap, reggeton, or hip hop. The little bit of rock one hears is ancient.

So glad to finally get to hear this live with the full band!👍🏽
St. Vincent just keeps getting better every day. Great Live rendition!
I saw her at Roskilde 2018 and have been obsessed with her music ever since. They sound AMAZING live.
Already a massive st Vncent fan, when Komasi Washington climbed onboard....... the whole thing just went up ........another level ..mindblowing.
Love, wish I was her😙badass voice, guitar, general persona!
This is so intense, agresive. Love it
She's picked up where Prince and Bowie left off.

Caro B. Since someone played the word against me in Scrabble I am seeing it as Mass eduction. It is a noun based on the verb educe: Bring out or develop (something latent or potential) Makes a lot of sense?

Brilliant with her guitar solo and Kamasi at the end.
After seeing this, I want one of them St.Vincent guitars 🤘🏻
I like the little nod Annie gives to Kamasi Washington just as he comes in, and then everyone looks like they're genuinely jamming away :)
She's gorgeous and talented, hope to see her live in Italy one day..
i love absolutely everything in this
I didn't know Boris Johnson played the drums. He's much better at it than being foreign secretary.

She is so refined and soooo hot; timeless & classic appeal. And she wouldn’t be doing it right if she didn’t piss off many in the process, naturally.
Geez , how come I have never heard of her until today ? Probably because I'm a boomer . I love it .
pure genius!

How come radio stations don't play music like this in San Antonio,TX. I mean she is from Texas ...

You've gotta listen to 91.7(Trinity University) after dark, 89.9(Texas State) or 93.3(San Antonio College) radio stations, they'll play her stuff. Though 89.9 is in San Marcos, but the other two are also college radio stations based out of San Antonio.
