Good to see it back! I celebrate my Irish mother that grew me!! Her lumpy, home made mashed spuds that she swore didn't have any, but those lumps were a plus. I have her original potato masher she used until she found boxed flakes. It's in the hutch!

Saint Patrick's Day is now celebrated worldwide by anyone with Irish heritage. It's celebrated in parts of the USA although it's not a public holiday. It's these days is more of a carnival rather than the religious holiday it once was.
Girls saint patrick's day outfit: female leprechaun. Boys saint patrick's day outfit: irish republic army.

Irish Republic Army doesn't exist as such anymore. The "Troubles" have finished and everyone of any Christian denomination now celebrates St Patrick's Day!
