I want to do Maho beach when i go in January

We didn’t make it over there, but I so wanted to go. It is an awesome experience, as I’ve heard
Maho Beach is a ripoff. Just did it last week and you barely have a large enough area to lay your towel. This time of year the shore is just about 10-15 feet from water and when you add the hundreds of visitors going to such a tiny strip of beach you either stay in the water or on the road. Also, take note of the itinerary of the airlines to and from the airport or you will be very disappointed. We spent three hours to just see one big airplane take off.
