I remember when the Blues just got rid of YEO and and Berube just started. Most people wanted to get Coach Q back. Heck, I wanted to also, but obviously glad we didn't. Berube is the man.

When he was coaching for the Wolves in 14-15, every single player who came up from the minors came up NHL ready and playing the game the right way. I was hoping he would’ve been the guy to replace Hitch. I never had confidence in Yeo. Berube is intimidating, but he has a certain level of friendship with the players on the ice. He coached a few of them in the minors. But I will always remember the players who came up from the Chicago Wolves and carried the Blues at a certain point in that season. So happy Berube got the boys to buy in. They look like the toughest team to beat in a 7 game series. Incredible goaltending, arguably the best defense in the league, and they were leading the conference this season with Vlad, their biggest offensive threat, on the LTIR This team Army has put together is incredible. They’re tight knit, well coached and willing to accept whatever role they need to win. I’ve spent my whole life being frustrated by the Blues. It’s beautiful to watch what they did last year and continue to do.

I think most people feel Yeo is forgettable at best. I know I forget he was even a coach of any kind for the Blues, until his name is brought up. When it was announced that he would take over as head coach when Hitch was done, I accepted it as the way the team wanted, but when they replaced Hitch prematurely, I didn't care for Yeo at all. It wasn't his fault, but the Blues wronged Hitch.

Love seeing a tough guy take the wheel, the toughest team in the playoffs survived last cup, glad to see it even as a Blackhawks fan cuz any GM with a brain should be looking to add some sandpaper if they’re serious about making a run

Blues fan here. Been one ever since I can remember (early to mid 90s). I remember my dad talk about how much Brett Hull was a cry baby....although he's the best Blue of all time. In terms of ppl talking about the Blues, it was very annoying seeing these "fans" pop in out of nowhere. They could only name the same 2 players and never really followed them. But I guess that happens with every team

As lifelong Caps fan, we owe a lot to the Blues what with Adam Oates, TJ and a few others. Chief was our enforcer in 98. Seeing him and your boys winning the year after we finally got ours was pure unadulterated joy. Well done again. Hopefully we will meet in a Final before #8 retires. It would be kind of poetic. And good fun smash mouth hockey. Go Blues.

Miss him in Philly. Because he took over as the interim he had a short leash so only got 1.5 years as the coach. I'll never forget him cursing off Crosby and Malkin in an interview saying they were the dirtiest players on the Penguins and if a Flyers gives them a shot then good because they deserve it.

These guys suck with interviewing. They question him about being considered an interim head coach as if that matters when you are a coach. It's not like those guys go in and say "I'm the interim coach, so we're just going to do nothing and keep losing. You know, because i'm the interim and have nothing to work for"

He didn't take a last place team, he took a team that was in last place, big difference but, this team had no business being in last place...they were an anomaly at that point and they had time to turn it around which they did but it makes me laugh when people say that this was a last place team...Berube knew he had a Cadillac when he took over...
