Glad you enjoyed it. For a few crazy years I called St John's home. (I bought and renovated the yellow house in the beginning of the video) I miss it there.

Love the Video and the Music!! I was born in Stephenville in 1951 then moved later to St John's after they closed Harmon AFB and opened the new one in St. John's. We lived on KingBridge Rd. (Off Base) A bunch of us are gonna ride around the Rock this Summer. Hope you're still there Mr. Maclean. Thanks for the great Music. Mike Logan

Love the video. I'm from the States but my mother is from St. John's. I'm one of those US Serviceman kids, haha. I spent a few summers there though and this video brought back some great memories. Although there were no steps or any kind of amenities like in this video shows going up to Cabot's Tower. You hiked the whole way. There were cannons there too. I have to get back before I leave. Proud to have Newfoundland blood. O'Dwyer's!

I was born in Stephenville on Harmon USAFB in 1951, then we moved to St. Johns where my Sister was born in 1956. I loved the Rock and the people were great. I will be riding my harley around the Island next summer. I remember fishing for Cod at The Gut !! Oh Yeah, I love the song Brother. I toured with Johnny Winter & Edgar Winter in the early 70's, TIN HOUSE is the name of my band. We're on KZread.

Some of my ancestors are from Ireland. They landed in St. John's and were probably thinking "What the hell...I thought we just left this place!" When they stepped foot of the boat.

Its absolutly the most amazing place in the world to live. If we all lived here here there would be no such thing as war. Its the most awesome place to live if you can handle the snow in winter.

Very cool! My Poppy and Nan lived one house down from Queens RD on Victoria ST. The blue one, north side. I spent summers there. Me and my brother had a couple of buddy's who lived in the neighborhood. They taught us the shortcuts and alleys in that area. I spent a whole summer running from the other lads in the hood who wanted to beat my Yank ass! Who has ever been punched in the gut while standing next to the Holy Water in a Catholic church? Haha! Good times. Wouldn't trade them for anything.

@spiddeer No we don't. But try living in a place with 180,000 people only to visit the next biggest town of CB maybe and only see 25,000. I think you'll find most townies respect the bay, but if you're not from there and it's not what you're used to, then why love it? Plus who said so, why did you feel the need to say that. Just creates more animosity.
