St George’s Day Brompton Ride
It’s sad that England’s patron saint gets so little recognition, so this year I decided to make a special journey to celebrate the day. It turned out to be a wet and very windy ride across two counties - with an appropriate destination in mind.

Honestly, why don't you use mudguards? They add so little to the weight, but gives at least some protection against the notorious "Brompton Stripe" up the back! As a "Rainy Dane" I never leave home without mine, on my now very much, what is left of the original bike, less than 2019 Superlight! It is down to about the same weight as a T-line, with mudguards, and I still have 6 gears. Finn. Denmark 😄
