The catholic message is good. I like that about the faith...it is sensible, fair and just.

St Frances of Rome is my patron saint. As a stay at home married mother and adult convert, I consider her to be one of my best friends. St. Frances of Rome, pray for me to work to be more like you, a cheerful wife and mother, always willing to get up from my prayers and life at church for my God given family duties, and for God to flood my heart with love if neighbor. Pray for all of us, dearest Francesca di Romana.

Now I have. “new friend” in Heaven! Love this Saint Frances of Rome! It’s like sooo beautiful… and simple! Seeking God’s Will and then doing it with love, seems like the best attitude to have; to pray, even with tears, and trusting in His and Mary’s help is all we can do; to accept His Will above our will seems to be a good attitude. Am🙏🏻to learn this. Thank you, Father! 🙏🏻

I am eternally grateful for these talks. I often find God speaking to me about virtues I should cultivate, vices I should uproot and Spiritual and practical principles I should adopt to grow in my vocation as a wife and mother to 5 little ones under 7. Prayers of Thanksgiving for the continued sanctification of these holy priests.

I had a lenten practice in mind and then the book Abandonment to Divine Providence literally fell down from my shelf on 2 separate occasions at the start of lent while cleaning and moving a book. So I got the hint. Father shared this abandonment to the will of God in the life of St. Francis of Rome and it is so relatable--ie. giving up complaining and maintaining a good attitude has been a defect from time to time. The Saints were human and give us the confidence to persevere;)

What are the remedies for a bad attitude when you've gotten into the habit of it and you were never disciplined as a child? I've just gotten used to being this way and I'm not sure how to change my ways now even though I know I have to.

All I can think of is 1. Remember the Golden Rule ( treat others as you would want to be treated). 2. Look to the examples of others, maybe people in your life already who have a good attitude while having a difficult life. 3. Look to the saints, like St. Frances, and our Blessed Mother. Mary is extremely patient, kind, helpful, full of love and Grace, even though she did not have an easy earthly life. I hope this helps. I think all we can do is do our best and pray. God is good. Maybe someone else can offer some additional ideas. 😄🙏

Pray to The Holy Spirt. Also there’s the Sacred Heart and The Sacred Head Devotion. They’re all contained in The blue Pieta book. God alone can and will change your heart. Reading scripture is good, essential to your mind. Remember “ Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say it, Rejoice! Let your kindness be to known to all for the Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing but through prayer and supplication make your requests known to God and The God of Peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Also, meditate and memorize Psalm 91. It’s Powerful! I’m putting you in my Eternal prayer basket. Courage!

I don't think it's helpful to chide parents for "frusrating the wishes of the child". Children are really stupid, and God has very clearly and wisely put the parents in charge of them.
