I really love and respect your reaction ❤️. To believe that everyone listening to the same song is gonna love it is crazy , even If it’s Tommy doing it. Music is complicated, music is ”Life”, memories, love, hate, circumstance. It all comes down to If it makes you feel good and makes you happy or makes you feel bad and sad. If the one you’re in love with breaks up with you and you was listening to this song it will always make you sad and you might hate it and If this is the song you listen to when you met her/him it will probably be a song that you will love for ever. And some songs you just don’t like, but you should always be true, don’t lie and be nice as you were in your reaction 😊👍🏻❤️.

I love an honest reactor! Being honest and authentic is important traits, I think. And your voice - and mine - are as important as anyone elses. I thought it was a nice song. Not one of Tommys best songs - but a nice one.

I get what you are saying. I really love this cover, though I'm not very familiar with the original (it does sound vaguely familiar), but I really like Tommy's voice in this one. I do have 1 or 2 songs not even Tommy's touch could save - like I'll See You In My Dreams, I just don't like that song. You can love a singer and/or a band without loving absolutely everything they ever did

The original song was pretty cheesy even by pop music standards, so there was only so much he was going to be able to do with it. I like his cover better than the original, but that wasn't a high bar to meet. There are certainly songs from that period that he could do amazing things with and I hope he does. As for what you said, there's a quote I love. "I'd rather have questions that can't be answered than answers that can't be questioned." The amazing thing about realizing you're wrong about something is that's when you get to learn something.

I agree with you and how they sped it up and it just doesn't work. The vocal quality is great but I'm not crazy about how he's stretching out the end of the phrase

I like the heavier sound here, but I still think John Parr's version is better. Still good though.

Not one of my favourite songs either but then Tommy covers all genres from classic rock to throwaway pop & everything in between & that's fine by me. As the saying goes You can't please all of the people all of the time but you can please some of the people some of the time.

Not a big fan of this song though it's not a bad song that being said I would rather step on a tack than watch that movie again😂 I think Tommy just picked this as a opportunity to stretch his vocals👍
