    Looks really sick, love it. And yeah, totally agree that the way a car handle does so much more to the feeling than just the power it makes. I absolutely love my 105hp shitbox, it just corners so lightly, feels way faster than it is.

    Took me ages to find out you boys had started up again with the Corollas. Finally binging all your videos while I'm quarantining. The car looks absolutely incredible. Love the wheel and sidewall combo. Excited to get through the rest and see how Dylan's car turns out.

    Aw mate shit. “Shank nut” struck a nerve with me don’t get me started. Nightmare. Stuck some SSR mk3 14”s on my ae92 trueno. Was never told about the shank nut issue. Went through 3 sets of “correct sizes” all wrong. Ended up taking my ssr’s to the local machine shop to have the lug wells bored out to match the size of one of my failed shank nuts. Whole process took about 3 months. (Edit) time period including shipping times for correct (wrong) sized ssr nuts

    I remember ae86s being cheap as fuck and wanting to get one for a first car before the price increase during the initial d craze so you can't really say the anime has NOTHING to do with the popularity. Many people who are older will tell you about the bug and sudden price jump and in the mid 2000s. I don't mean to sound annoying or whatever or like a 30 year old boomer but yeah. The Anime did popularize them. I'm not saying they are a bad car... initial d got me into old Toyotas.. in like 2005 when I first watched it.

  • @GOTIME-CO

    we're not saying the anime had nothing to do with it, but we're just saying that it isn't the only reason for their popularity, which is what heaps of people think! We're just simply explaining that we love how they drive

    Back in the day in Australia Gemini were more common to modify than ae86s and ke70s. I love the car but yeah don't try and change history you are too young to remember.

    What a ignorant comment. A) Gemini’s were/are terrible, and B) JDM styling isn’t new, they aren’t trying to “change history” 😂 Looks good fellas, keep it up.

  • @harryx6968

    @harryx6968

    What year were you born in Michael Ellis? Gemini being good or bad has nothing to do with the fact they used to be way more popular than *e7* corollas. They could be the shittest car in the world and that wouldn't change the fact They used to say more popular than *e7*'s. I challenge you to find pictures of a 80's corolla in the 90s or earlier on JDM wheels like ssrs. You probably can't even find one because that's not something people were doing at the time. You can however easily find lots of pictures of Gemini and on dragways and centerline in the 90's. Stop talking about tjongsbyou are too young to know. JDM styling didn't become a popular thing in Australia until the 2000s and it was around 2005 it started to stop being niche. You were probably like 3 in 2005.
