the amount of detail these horses have is unreal. absolutely stunning!

I kind of wish they had put these horses into a different model, as I’m not a big fan of the Appaloosas myself, but I still love the amount of effort and beauty put into their fish like coats.

Glad you can still do these vids, was worried you might not be able to do them anymore with gameguard, glad we can still get these spoilers 😄 Wow these horses are really vibrant and they really look like fish. The black and white one is basically even a zebra too, people have wanted that. It's a little odd that cats are their companions tough, frogs or something else that lives on land and water would be more suitable. Personally these horses don't appeal as much to me, but I bet they will to a lot of other players.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think these can be found in the official game files if you know where and how to look. So gameguard can't really do anything about it

if ever sso decides to do something which makes these spoiler vids impossible i might just come out and quit the game altogether. these spoilers let me see ahead of time which horses are coming out so i can go ahead and make my own opinions on them while keeping in mind what's to come instead of a vague "something big is coming" on their socials and impulse buying due to excitement. and due to the amount of emphasis they put on adding new horses and how much they favorite horse updates than any other, something like this is almost necessary or certain players, me being one of them since i cant afford to buy starcoins these spoilers let me buy horses efficiently and when the time comes for the update i know exactly what i want and have it all planned out what I'm going to do. i waited to buy the new haflingers for this spoiler so that if i liked these magic horses better than the haflingers i wouldn't be sitting there thinking about how i wasted my starcoins and not being able to do anything to get more in time for me to buy them. and i know that i could have done the same thing if i waited a little longer, but due to my adhd that's an extremely hard thing to do, so i rely on these spoilers pretty heavily

I think they chose cats because of the “cat tries to eat fish” thing.

Personally, I’m not as big of a fan of the Goldfish. Something about it just irks me. I think it’s the fins. They look a tad big on the Appaloosa model. I love the Lionfish horse though! In one of my classes, we got to create a country, and we based it off of Lionfish, which is where the fascination stems from. Overall, SSO did a really good job on both the horses. The fins aren’t the main factor of the horse, and I’m sure the Goldfish will be beautiful in game! Only time will tell.

I think I dislike the goldfish one because it’s eye looks black. There’s a stark contrast on the lion fish’s colors vs eye color. At first I thought the goldfish had black eyes. Also… the non magical coat his hideous… I this dapple palomino look isn’t it. At least with the shading they chose :/

I agree. The placement of the dapples makes absolutely no sense. When a horse has dapples higher up, it usually means they have them on the entirety of their coat, whereas the normal coat for the Goldfish only has them in a very weird spot. I think SSO could have worked harder in the Goldfish, because I can tell that it won’t sit well with a lot of players.

@@shepthecori That would be because it's an appaloosa and when they start to varnish that's how they start to dapple out. (I own a chestnut version.) and yeah I would say she definitely looks odd irl but she is a real colour! I'm not a fan of the tails myself I think it makes them look more like dragons than fish :')

Honestly think that zebra coat is my favorite horse ever in the game, I thought the paso finos would be hard to beat but they truly outdid themselves here

I don't usually buy magical horses but wow these look gorgeous!

i think the fish tails look a lil goofy but i like them. i'm glad sso is finally deciding to try and be a bit more creative with their natural coat colours too. the gold champagne with lacing is really quite genius. i hate champagnes (and double dilutes lol) and i dislike the goldfish design but i'm glad they're finally experimenting a bit more. i really like the extensive dun on the grullo, though i do wish they made them a proper grullo rather than that super unnatural bright white colour... unless they dried to make a grey dun? which is honestly less realistic considering grey also depigments the primitive markings on dun horses lol. i actually think a nice extensive red dun would be a better fit for the lionfish, because it's more within the realm of natural possibility and matches the lionfish's red stripes. i love the lionfish design lots. these guys are what kampos + tellina and faramawr + aldrach should have been. it's nice to see they got there in the end!

@Storm Mist i don't think it's a zorse. i mean, it could be, but it looks much more like an extensive dun to me. but either way, it doesn't matter because it's still unrealistic. the only way for a horse to become that bright white is for it to be a grey or a double-dilute, both of which are impossible given the dark primitive markings (zebra or dun, it doesn't matter). a grey would depigment the black the same as it would any other strand of hair, making the whole horse white-grey. a double-dilute would have pink skin and so the markings would be a tan-ish colour at the absolute darkest. additionally, this is impossible as zebra's don't carry domesticated equine dilution genes and as such they would only be able to inherit one copy of the dilution, so there's no way for it to be a double-dilute. the other basecoat is a gold champagne with lacing (aka. reverse dapple). it's actually very realistic, especially considering appaloosas are one of the few breeds that carry champagne (the colour mutation originated in america, so only american breeds seem to have the gene so far).

​@Storm Mist there have been pale zorses, yes (typically grullos or young greys, or diluted zorses), but not bright white zorses with distinct black markings. here, i'll break it down for you ^^ : yes horses can be that white colour from the grey gene (as i have already said). yes the grey gene is autosomal dominant and as such would express itself even when heterozygous. however, as i have also said previously, grey is a mutation that causes depigmentation everywhere - it depigments the hair strands, regardless of what colour their base coat or dilution is. it doesn't exclude the stripes. a fully greyed out zorse, or a fully greyed out dun, would both phenotypically look exactly the same colour as any other fully greyed out horse - the primitive markings are still greyed out and wouldn't show over the top. the black points on greys are due to skin colour on the muzzle and around the eyes (where there is significantly less hair to depigment), which is what causes those dark points on fully greyed out equines. if you look up greying zorses, you'll notice how the grey starts to depigment the whole horse hair by hair, even on the stripes. the "few other genes that are in other breeds" that you refer to would be the double-dilutes, which i covered before, but here's some more depth: double dilutes include the cream gene (double-creams being cremello, perlino and smoky cream) and the pearl gene (red pearl, bay pearl, black pearl, though the pearl gene doesn't dilute as much as the cream). they also technically include then the pseudo double-dilutes, which are both cream and pearl (so palomino pearl, buckskin pearl, smoky black pearl). all of these double-dilutions cause lightened/pink skin and as such cannot present black markings like the sso horse (even as a zorse, this does not change the gene's ability to code the protein for black pigment and the markings would still not be black). pinto zorses (or duns, or any horses for that matter) cannot express markings/patterns (such as primitive markings or dappling from greys) on top of their white markings (eg. pinto, appaloosa, grey hairs) because the hair has been depigmented. there's a very common tobiano (possibly tovero? doesn't really matter) zorse with a large amount of white. they're one of the first zorses to pop up when you search pinto zorse. it's clear to see that none of the zebra stripes appear on top of these white markings. there's another very cute bay appaloosa zorse (zebra x poa) that has incredibly funky appy markings all across their body in which it's clear that the stripes are only visible in the pigmented areas, not on top of the markings. i actually highly recommend looking this lil fella up because he's so cute!! and an interesting way to shift perspective at appaloosa as well (at least, for me it's interesting to look at them more as patches of white with holes rather than white with dots) - not only can it be dark spots of hyperpigmentation, but can also be spots lacking depigmentation. it's super cool! i hope that covers it all! i'm such an equine genetics nerd lmao (i'm actually hoping to get into the field as soon as i finish up my genetics degree + my subsequent equine sci degree). feel free to ask any questions if you're confused ^^ i always love talking about this stuff.

oh yeah forgot to mention. it's not possible for the zorse to be a double-dilute regardless of the fact that they can't present such dark markings. this is because for a double-dilute to be, well, double-dilute, they have to have two copies of either cream, pearl or one of each. cream is incomplete dominant, so one copy would only make palomino, buckskin or smoky black (assuming simple chestnut, bay or black base respectively). these wouldn't be light enough to look like the sso horse. pearl is autosomal recessive, so having only one copy of the gene won't actually change the coat phenotypically (even when paired with a singular cream gene). and obviously zebras don't carry the same dilution genes as domesticated horse species so they can't produce double-diluted offspring.

@@pogpogpog7507 I appreciate the intense amount of info you put into your comments, but I think it might be helpful to remind everyone that these are Magic Horses and thus normal laws of genetics and science in general cannot apply to them. Not trying to be snotty, and again, I'm impressed by all that info, but I don't see it applying specifically to magic horses. I do really love the zebra-dun, though, so I am totally biased. I also think that SSO is doing justice to [most] new 3.0 breeds and I'm very happy with the direction in which they're taking it. And I think sometimes it's okay to have horses that are just silly/pretty just because.

​@@shePhoenyx oh don't get me wrong i don't mind the occasional fun funky horse. i was just explaining to the other person why the dun (or zorse) coat wasn't realistic, like they claimed it was, no matter which way you looked at it. i am a genetics nerd so i do prefer the realism personally, but i don't think there's anything particularly wrong, per say, about unrealistic coats, especially in a fantasy-based game (and especially in the designated magical horses!). i just tend to appreciate it more when the natural coats are actually natural rather than almost-natural. but like i mentioned, i much prefer the dun and lionfish design over the champagne and goldfish design - this is mostly because i really dislike champagne as a coat colour lol (though this doesn't make the design any less genius!)

The amount of creativity and time that had to be put into making this is unreal. Its really impressive to see something like this made but... I'm not sure I want to own one personally. Which is so odd because I loved the Seahorses but something about these feels... maybe over the top somehow? They look like they belong in the ocean in Fort Pinta and not like something you'd just ride around on land at all. More like an NPC and not just another horse for us. Its strange.

Their textures aren't very cohesive with the rest of the game. The sharp highlights and high detail is something you don't see anywhere in the game's environments, nor on other horses (except the dragons, which suffer the same problem).

Star stable really create beautiful things, it's comparable to art their imagination for every magic horses

Considering that you have to hire artists to make a game, yeah? That being said I'm not a fan of these. They aren't cohesive with the rest of the game.

When I saw the goldfish transform into that stunning palomino I knew… sso was getting my money again.

I love that sso is getting creative with their designs

These horses remind me of Bella Sara. They're lovely. The only thing these horses won't be able to do is swim, even though they're part fish... SSO didn't make the other fish horses able to swim, I don't expect these to swim either. But they're very well done.

I love these two! Aldrach (red dragon horse) was my first magic horse and I'm a little biased towards it but I must say that these two are a HUGE improvement. I love the lionfish one's normal and magic coats (love the goldfish's coats too, don't get me wrong), and the lionfish is so detailed it's unreal. I love everything about it

omgg finally good looking magic horse and also secondd !!

These horses are absolutely gorgeous! I’d imagine that the release of these stunning horses would make people react like when the dragon horses first came out. The scale design is amazing! Not to mention the new role plays people may make! For example: a horses that’s afraid of water and will either drink like a dog or drink with no one around; or could even have powers to help it drink. Like H20: Just Add Water. And if the horse touches water it would go into it’s magic form! My favorite thing about these stunning beauties is how detailed they are. Plus there tail and the random effect on the red one. And I just love how you can choose if you want a random patterned horse or just more of a normal designed horse. You could do a rp on a rare horse found in a magical forest and turns into this red zebra catfish like horse. Or a rp on a horse who came from a mysterious breeder, and when touches water turns into this orange colored fish horse. And to include the cats in: the fish horses can bond with a cat that helps hide the horses whenever they turn into their true form. A truly awesome design overall tho.

I'll be honest, i am a true fish addict in both IRL and SSO (as horses) and these new horses has gotta to be one of the most detailed and beautiful magic horses we have gotten (atleast on the top 4). Of course this is my opinion ^^. And for me the non-magical coats looks awesome, especially the Lionfish one. It looks like a zebra which i think looks very cute on a gen 3 appy. Though their tails looks kinda interesting and weird.

I’m not a big fan of most of SSO’s magical horses, but holy moly, the amount of detail on that zebra lionfish model is INSANE! I love it’s semi-realistic coat too!

I've been watching your channel since you've started it, and your videos are not only well organized but also very aesthetic, and editing is always a 5*. I also like the new POV angle you added, so we can see the horses in action. I prefer when the horses are outside with grass/greens in the background like in magic horse showcases.

Honestly, I have never been a huge magic kind of horse fan myself. But I will say these are the most detailed magic horses I have ever seen SSO Done. They are very well done and detailed. The model I feel like fits the coat colorings quite well.

Oh wow, I think these are the first magical horses with some 3D Elements. I think they did well, although I‘m not a big fan of magical horses. I think I‘ll buy the one which lookes like a zebra. Looks kinda cute in its normal form. Edit: Ok Kampos and Tellina have 3D Elements too (fins). But the Appaloosas are way better in my opinion.
