Huge fan of your stuff. Going back when I heard some of your UBK Happy Funtime Hour questions read. Your videos are so well done. You have a great ability to explain without confusing. It was a big help a few years ago when I was checking out Izotope for the first time. If I could donate man, I totally would. Keep it up. You are definitely one of the few on here who talks honestly, and doesn't have a bias that I see in too many channels. Or withhold content unless someone pays for 50 courses. Much appreciated

I normally use the Brainworx Townhouse comp. Technically not a "G" compressor but I do like it. The native SSL (v2) is one of my favorites as well, especially with oversampling turned ON and even the Reason one sounds pretty good, i use it as plugin in another DAW haha. I dont like Waves' consumer-unfriendly business model depite the relatively low price tag, and UAD ties you to their (hardware) eco system (well, not anymore?). The market is pretty well saturated with SSL comps, many flavors and to choose from and many of them sound different only if you A/B them
