Probably this is one of the worst leagues in the world. Ugly and boring football.

I'm from Germany and love the Irish league (1st & 2nd tier)! It feels like the good old classic and VAR-free football of my youth (which nowadays you can usually only find in the semi-pro/amateur leagues - I'm fan of a 5th tier side in Germany btw) but with passionate crowds, lots of local derbys and a great "compact" league structure (easy to follow with just 10 games per game day in total for both tiers). So, I agree with Damien Duff, the Irish league is the best league! Come on Shelbourne! ❤🤍❤️🤍❤️ .. (and Kerry FC,too 😉)
