question number first is conceptually wrong as the Probability of an event can never be greater than the probability of that event in union of another event. Here in the question itself P(A) is given greater than P(AUB) in any circumstances this is not possible.

In Q 1, If P(A) = 11/18 then how come P(A U B) = 5/9 = 10/18 which is less than P(A)…..or am I missing something.
