hi thanks for watching lmk if i missed anything! i know i didn’t go into bombs almost at all and that was because bombs really deserve their own video, and “you can use nair to send bombs at fun angles” was difficult to place in the three categories i talked about (neutral, advantage, disadvantage) though i did mention it towards the end. you can still use a bunch of different moves to throw bombs so it’s not like this is exclusive to nair anyway :p thanks for reading hope you didn’t open the comments to say a mean thing but if you are then fair enough im not ur mom (yet)

Link main, here! You touch on it at the end, but bomb z drop into nair fast fall is great for approaches in neutral, as the opponent has to deal with both the bomb with and active hitbox and your approach. It basically gives him Mario and Pikachu’s equivalent of run behind projectile approaches, but with the added benefit of the bomb arching so it even works when the opponent is in the air. Not nair related, but regarding the MU with Samus, Link’s bombs absorb a full charge shot, even when laying on the ground, so you can create a wall that way or simply throw the bomb into an incoming charge. Thus, approaching against Samus in these scenarios is more manageable for Link than many other characters. Nice video!

thanks for commenting! i did notice that bombs just shut down charge shot. i love that. i wish i could’ve gone more into it tbh but i was already practically done with the video when i noticed it and i didn’t want to spend too much time on it and let it take up a chunk of the video lol, but yeah there’s so much to do with nair and bombs i love them

it's crazy how you treat link nair being good like some kind of secret or hot take when pretty much everyone agrees that it's fucking crazy

Young link main here! I would say that a lot of things that make link's nair strong also applies to Yink, minus the range. It is also missing the kill power, but the combo potential is kinda crazy.
