Literally watched this quietly while playing smash with some friends and hit the down tilt into jump into spike in the first game i tried it lol. Ty for this, as a Lucina main, we need more of this type of content!

LMAOO i actually got the idea for that bit of the video doing the same thing, i was a dummy and forgot to save the replay but i was on some online doubles with a friend and i was like “yk how marios forward throw kinda gives some people the reflex to double jump? I think lucina down tilt is the same” and I did it immediately after lol, it was so funny and well timed but I wasn’t recording anything sadly 😔 still im glad you enjoyed the vid and got something out of it :)) I plan to post a lot more marth and lucina soon

I was a Lucina player before the pandemic and basically no one cared/talked about down tilt back then. Even considering players like Protobanham and Mr. E, I don't remember their down tilts that much. Interesting to see how the meta has changed for even "simple" characters like Lucina. I do remember the pandemic era Roy players had nasty down-tilts.

I like to down tilt to shield breaker ✨ Low percentage makes them trip in the sour spot too
