It was a C4 on a chemical payload of a syndicate bomb. Any bombs using the bomb case you can make with 10 plasteels requires a chemical payload that you can build with either a gibtonite or C4. You can also remove the chemical payload from a syndicate bomb by cutting all wires and crowbaring it (when its off of course) Any explosion on or next to the payload will make it explode too in a cascade reaction So its possible to have a very quick explosion syndicate maxcap level by just removing the payload and putting a C4 on it. You can even program the C4 with signalers to detonate it whenever you want
