I bought one as soon as they started selling them. I loved it so much, I bought a second one about a year later. They are much easier to work with than a plastic brew bucket and so much easier to clean and sanitize. They do look good, better than a bucket but the easier cleaning and trub separation were the factors that I wanted the most....Take care, Bluefin.

This has been on my list for a fair while. Fair to say I'll be investing in it.. Great little review, thanks for sharing

For bottlers: is there any reason you can't dump the trub out the bottom of the cone and pour the priming solution directly into the fermenter for bottling? How much sediment is remaining to muddy things up?

Interesting idea. Getting all the trub out might be tricky. Worth a shot.

Nice review. I prefer a plastic bucket fermenter, a lot cheaper and just as easy to clean

Yes. Perhaps one advantage of the Brew Bucket is the conical bottom which seems to do a nice job of separating the trub from the beer. But mainly I'm a sucker for stainless steel brew equipment 😀

Can you bottle straight from the fermenter?

Why the initial clean with TSP specifically? Is it necessary? Are there any alternatives to TSP we could use? Thanks!

The manual recommended TSP. That said I'm sure PBW would work too.

How did the tilt go with the stainless steel, was there any issue getting a signal to your phone?

The signal range is reduced for sure but I can still get a reading if I'm close to the fermenter
