Hi basically i have an important question I want to use a commercial size cooking pot 30 to 40 inches, I want to use it for commercial cooking to avoid and leaching toxic activity, what will heat the pot would be a 32 jet wok burner stove which there use in resturant. WHat grade would you recommend and most importantly to stay away from. Bare in mind this will be everyday usage. Thanks

Try SS 304L, 316L

Nice information and table about L in stainless steel grade but why not include 321ss that is between 316L and 904L

Dear if u are using SS then kindly go for SS-316L that will give u long life.....rest options will give u small life....

Quite informative. Just one correction, Nickel increases the stability of austenitic nature not authentic!

I can tell how detailed and informative your slides are with all these CH E topics and I believe many USA students would take advantage of your work if they were in English. I think that the information you cover is more industry applicable as opposed to theoretically inclined as college courses are structured. As someone in the industry, I still find value in your videos even If I can't understand all the additional info that you speak on beyond the English bullet points on the slides. The diagrams and visuals are helpful too. Good job!

416 Steel containing 11.5% chromium, which provide good corrosion resistance properties.after that Quenching and tempering can harden grade of 416.
