I wanted to see Deegan and Stewart fight for the win, but she overheated with all the caution laps.

@@johnnyfive4436 Before the race started, the chief mechanic told all drivers to watch their engine temperatures. If it got too high, to radio in to arrange to pit to solve the problem. Deegan failed to do that and boiled most of the water out of her engine. Officials even ran more caution laps so she could re-join the race. Her fault and nobody else's.

Yea. What a show that would be if she actually beet him. 😂 I believe in her unlike some other female drivers in the past. I think she’s got what it takes the go Winston Cup all the way.

I was at the event in Pensacola and it was so fun. This league is great for the summer time and I hope it continues.

Alan Besswick is probably one of the best color commentators in the motorsports business, good on Tony Stewart and SRX to realize that and pick him up and put him out front says a bunch on how smart Tony and his management team are to do that!

A funner way for SRX events to work would be to use what I like to call "Ladder qualifying" · A series of equally long 4-car heats to decide the starting order for the main event. The winner would progress to the next heat (yes, it's similar to how "alphabet soup" events work) · Each heat would decide positions 1-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13 and there could be more if the entry list was bigger Why this "ladder qualifying"? More racing for the fans and a big chance for anyone that's bad at one-lap qualifying to not start at the back

Deegan for president.............

This was honestly the best SRX race I’ve ever seen, so far! Another great race this year! But the LONG cautions on Deegan and the crashes killed the airtime of the SRX coverage. I hate the fact that they were under yellow for so long for Deegan. Come on, SRX Race Control. You’re killing the airtime…

I don't think that it was her fault though. People like to blame her for everything. But yes it's been a great season so far and I am glad it's coming back next year. I love this racing league.

@@johnnyfive4436 oh no I’m not blaming her one bit. My problem is race control. I never blamed Hailie about the long yellow. It was towards race control.

@@johnnyfive4436 Deegan failed to radio in that her engine was way too hot because the air inlet was covered in dirt. Chief mechanic told all drivers, before the race, to radio in if engines got too hot. Deegan ignored that warning and kept racing until all the water was boiled out of the engine. Yes, it WAS her fault.

@@JPKelly-xr7tr 12 other drivers drove in that race. She was the only one to boil over her engine. Before that race even started the chef mechanic warned all drivers to report in when engine temp went over 250 degrees. "Failie" Deegan ignored that. No surprise. She's an arrogant attention hound that listens to nobody. All hype and not much else.

We saw a lot of caution laps.

I can't believe this series couldn't wait another 2 laps or how ever long it took for Hailey Deegan or even put her in another car, come on she was in 2nd or 3rd. Should have gave her place back at the caution.🏁🇺🇸

I love SRX , I attended Nashville last year. but I hope Tony doesnt win it this year. I lost respect for him after his temper tantrum towards Ernie Francis.

The way she said “start your engines” made me cringe and gave me cancer

Willie is a terrible commentator. Very nice guy in person though.
