All I can say is that his Flying Kick explosion effects look so damned beautiful and well animated, I kinda forgot it's supposed to be from a 1980 anime.

The grandaddy of robots doesn't need any weapons to kick the asses of evildoers.

It only took Banpresto two decades to finally put Gigantor in an srw game.

They could also kick in Kannazuki no Miko, Gundam Wing G-unit, and on top of that make Gun X Sword, Betterman, Vision of Escaflowne and some other forgotten series come back.

Yeah, the original idea was for Mazinger Z to be a combining mecha, but they decided to push it back for the time being.

Actually it's 18m tall. The original Mazinger Z is 13 - Great and Kaiser are significantly taller even though in the shows they are drawn as about the same. So it's not the smallest robot ever.

And he did it all with just a remote control

In mu mind, this Tetsujin is way better than that bulky guy. At least, this tetsujin has moves while that old counterpart behave just like a normal robot.

I have a huge respect to this robot, he just punch and kick while other robots almost nuking him. That said i still think they should have been use this watch?v=EllXj2Z7X6E as theme.

You should have shown the flying kick with a humanoid shaped robot and watch Tetsujin kick their balls.

Still, it's not like every flying kick is inspired by Kamen Rider. That's like saying every combining mecha is inspired by Getter Robo.

mazinger z is the 1st acthual super robot gongai said the idea of the creatation of mazinger came from tetsujin and astro boy but he didnot shadow them since mazinger is the 1st s.robo how had pilot and acombination and aweapons and the pilot is inside the mecha plus tetsujin on 60 is un- watchable at all but the 80 is so great
