Sounds relaxed and dreamy 😉 after a moment it draws you in gently. I like it.

good pairing. the R200 brings here what it is good at. balanced (tweeter on the listening axis!), slightly prickly highs, but acceptable, deep relatively controlled bass, good mids.

I have listened to nova 300 many times, not this pairing, however the nova is a great sounding amp, speaker matching can be troublesome, but get it right and wow ..

I think the R200s are fine with this amp, certainly in comparison with the NAD C338. If anything I'd say with the Nova 300 there is a bit more bass, grip and control and it also fills in the lower mids better making the C338 sound a little anemic. I do hope Professor E lets us listen to his fine, top tier speakers, with a nice class A/B amp or two. Profesor E can decide which ones 😀.

I basicaly like this pairing with caveats. This Peachtree Nova is focused and controled and fairly tonaly neutral to me, but it's a touch dry and sterile sounding, and not the most fluid or really great at reproducing micro dynamics. In short, it's crisp and clean but a touch stiff and not the most natural or musicaly engaging. I do think it pairs fairly well with the R200s, wich sound open, clean and controled, although their bass has had more impact with many other amps, but has also sounded thumpier and less controled with some.

These sound weak in the bass and lower mids with this amp, and are blown away by the Revel M16 at the same price, IMO, at least with this amp, because the R200s sound too thin and bright to me with the Nova.

It sounds worse than even Yamaha R-S202.
