great speakers
It's a brighter sounding speaker than the Q350 and not as big or bassy as the Q350. It has quite a pleasant, well -balanced tonality. Dare I say a poor man's Meta ?

@@DougMen1 It sounds good in all those videos, except that the big JBLs have great presence and sound less confined than regular speakers. No doubt the big JBLs are still a contender for one version of the absolute sound.
Kef 150 is most underrated. It is almost excellent. Very balanced clean and lovely sound. You can hear everything clearly . Ear pleasing sound. I paired it with yamaha wxa-50 and it sound Brilliant. After few weeks it sounds more beautiful.
Always thought the Q150s were fun sounding and not miles from tonaly accurate. Not the most transparent maybe, but good at it's size and price point. Excellent energy and dynamics like their big brothers. The Q150 is a drop less 'robotic' sounding to me than the Q350s, and its midrange timber is probably more balanced and natural. The Q350s do have much weightier bass, but not always more detailed. Oddly the C338 seems to be adding a bit more grunge to the 150's sound to me than it did with the 350's 🤔
I'm guessing adding a sub like a baby rel would be great with these using bypass .
I just got my q150s in yesterday. Can't wait to get home to hook up. Couple questions....how long to break in? I'm running them thru just a Fosi bl20c amp and an ifi zen dac air. I also got a powered 8 inch sub. What's the best way to hook up everything? I have all the cables I could need. I'm using my Samsung s20 plus as a source with Tidal hifi. Should I run phone into dac thru USB with the USB player pro app or should I run it thru bluetooth from the fosi amp? Sorry but I'm a noob. I need help lol.
