The outlaw Greg kills it all the time in these types of events just the way it is designed with the engine in the passenger seat next to the driver the balance is pretty cool and the capabilities make it like no other

Real Ale Lover they could have just used all the loose dirt on the track. Seems to be a lot of it strategically placed all over the course.

That was an awesome video! The big takeaways for me are 1) solid axle is becoming a relic of the past, as evidenced by the winner here and by ultra 4 trucks beating rock bouncers when they went head to head. 2) Paddle tires, like tractor tires and cut boggers have a distinct advantage in powdery dirt and mud. And 3) gearing makes a crucial difference that some people obviously didn’t think about. A lot of guys were pulling these hills at 4,000-4,500 rpm. They didn’t do as well as the guys hitting peak power at 6,500-7,000 rpm.

He does well

They seem to be running higher tyre pressures than normal. I was always told you need lower tyre pressures to increase the footprint in soft sand. They clearly know what's what or they wouldn't be there. Every day's a school day.

in straight sand you are correct, but add in rock ledges and you will bend wheels with too little air pressure.

Is it just me or was there a serious issue with Riot on this one? She seemed that she had no power or lost the NOS or the like. Since I can't be there & hadn't read anything anywhere else I'm just curious as to what her problem was. Could plainly see Jake was very disappointed in her. Thanks for posting such sweet long video, excellent job once again.

Some of you boys have some tractor tire treads, why don't you run them backwards so they work more like paddles in stuff like this? Just an idea. Besides they seem to work better in mud that way too.

Turning them backwards would tend to channel the dirt or mud towards the center of the tire effectively clogging or reducing its grab on the earth whereas the regular way yields it away from the center keeping the treads fresh for its footing ahead..

These courses must be back killers!

He is just a very good driver. Other buggies also were very good. Maybe the 1st race was a little bit unfair for the latter guys (more dust to go over).

Really enjoyed watching. The past 3 hours of B.K.Videos was great. The editing, camera angles, comments by drivers, etc... However, watching the American Flag get rooster tailed, rolled in dirt, and even falling off what looked like p,v.c. pipe, was not. Maybe someone can tell them boys to just put a sticker somewhere.

This has been brought up a few times and I totally disagree. These men are flying flags behind their rigs because they love their Country. I would rather them fly them and risk them getting dirty or falling off than not fly them at all. We could use more people showing their love for their Country then maybe it would drown out all of the hate. IMO
