I traveled on same route in 1985 in non ac, a tata or Leyland bus . It took same time around 22-24 hours. During Punjab journey the bus along with other vehicles,,was escorted by police .

Great memories for you bhai leh ladakh kashmir trip

34:30 same thing happened with me at New Delhi station a couple of week back. Got down from Kashi vishwanath exp & took an auto to ISBT. Already he was pissed with me as I was not allowing him to let me share the auto. He said, "bus pakadna hai?". Then "kahan ki". I said Jaipur. He was like beta aap galat ja rahe ho. Mori gate chhod deta hu, wahan se ek se badhkar ek buses milegi. ISBT se koi bus nahi jaati jaipur. Phir to usko pura boarding point se lekar dropping point samjha diya (isbt, dhaula kuan, iffco chowk...).. 😂😂 & When I reached ISBT, just then RSRTC volvo was ready to leave. I said, "Chacha, udhar dekho, ISBT se jaipur.. Then he said, jaati hogi lekin main aapko isse achi bus dilwata.. 😂 They get comission from pvt buses for bringing passengers (some are fraud too). Thats why they insist for pvt buses.

@@sushantnarang7552 Cost is 400rs, Ac dorm with clean washrooms. Its just 5 min walk. Name-Homestay ac dormitory, above SBI Bank Church road Kashmere gate branch.

So far, HRTC offers the best service in terms of online booking, service as well as behaviour of staff. Like if states just allow online ticket booking, it’ll benefit then in long term. Great efforts bhai! Nazare dekh ke maza aa gaya

We 3 people ready to travel from dharmavaram to Delhi to Srinagar via by train because washroom facilities are available in the train and hammam or panni nahana facilities available in AC 1st class train

This highway takes atleast 100 lives every year..if he is driving at 70, you are lucky. I came from the same road a few days back and it was all hell.. nothing but mud instead of road. Landslides like hell.
