Narmie, If it's hard don't try to read along atleast for a month .listen to if for a month whenever you can. You will learn quick and then read. It will be a lot helpful.

May be it’s not your taste. But we should understand that there is variety in this material world. Spiritual content can be presented in various kinds of packaging. So there are many devotees who appreciate this too. And regarding your comment about Srila Prabhupada didn’t encourage this kind of music…. Firstly as you have mentioned it’s not a rap song, it’s a simple western melody. And even if it’s a rap, we think it’s totally appropriate, it’s just that it’s not your taste. So I am sure you must be aware srila Prabhupada has always encouraged all kinds of music to reach out krishna to different kinds of people. You must be aware that Prabhupada had great stalwart devotees like George Harrison and Jahnavi mataji who were western rock and pop style singers and Srila Prabhupada had totally approved these kind of music too.
