In this travel vlog we are travelling from bengaluru in India to Colombo in Sri Lanka on Sri Lanka airline in their business class on an airbus a320. Flew a few years back with them. And was better than expected really but still far behind other carriers.
I Heard Sri Lankan is the best airline in south asia as well as one of a best airline in Asia.

From this 1 hour experience I can say thier hospitality’s top notch. if they got some more modern airbus aircraft they’d be up their with some of the best in the world 🇱🇰😁

Wow, you're really a jet-setter now Dom, with First and Business Class and expensive hotels. I would never be able to afford anything like that, as even flying Loganair needs saving. Good photography and commentary.

oh don't be fooled, even with a business upgrade its a cheaper fight ticket than Loganair to Manchester from Aberdeen for me, also the hotel room was no more expensive than a premier inn.
When you visit Banglore again (if you ever do) please take a tour on T2 newly inaugrated terminal in Banglore.

There is a bidding section for upgrades when you book you ticket and I put in a bid that was accepted. This means it was a lot cheaper than paying for regular business class
Did they give you any amenity kit? If yes, which brand?

No amenity kit on this flight sadly as it was only 1 hour long.
You don't have to present a return ticket from Sri Lanka. There is no such rule. But I've heard from other passengers that ground staff who work for Sri Lankan airlines at Banglore Airport are weired and they demand on presenting a return ticket. 🙄

There is a section on the Sri Lankan online ETA that asks the date when you plan to leave, Maybe the airlines has taken that bit a little literally. Not really sure myself, was just happy to be able to help the guy out.

@@WorldWide_Dom With all due respect, I beg to differ. There is only intended arrival in the online ETA form and no intended departure date. There are many criticisms about BLR ground staff who do the ground handling for UL. The recent one was about denying boarding to a young passenger with Autism. I've travelled to CMB from various countries on one-way tickets, and no staff has ever asked me that question. Because Sri Lanka wants a lot of tourists, they don't impose such rules. But I'm glad you helped that guy out. You're very kind. BTW I love your videos. You know how to narrate a story very well. Good luck!

@@AmuthanVethanayagam when travelling to most countries as a tourist you need to show an onwards ticket leaving the country. How strict the immigration authorities enforce that is another matter

@@charlesjay8818 I agree. But it doesn't usually happen with powerful passport holders. In BLR airport, ground staff are strict. But they have the right to be strict.
