Джудетти решил посмотреть ближайший резерв Сербии, но без Майи и Тияны команду представить трудно. Вероятно подключаться позднее - турнир VNL длинный. К сожалению, три часа ночи - это глубокая ночь для Европы.

Neah, A team members will stay in Belgrade, rest and prepare for the Olympic tournament. We are really waiting to see how our youngsters are doing, soo many of them are on court here: hopefully few can join Serbian A team in future..❤❤❤

​​@@Piters1953 it's not about Guidetti: it is Serbian volleyball association strategy for years now. This is a trial tournament for entering the A team bench - priorities are main events, like World championship, Olympics or European championship. A great chance for many youngsters to enter the international stage on this level- we'll see how good they 'll preform.

Yes they were. DR has a great team, overall. To be fair, Serbian main setters, world champions, Ognjenovic and Drca, are in Belgrade, preparing for the Olympics.. I'm curious, as a Serbian, how well will that second setter, Miljevic, do on this VNL. She's a debutant on the international stage, playing Serbian league only, same as a lot of members of this team. ❤

I still wonder are most of the rest of countries - like US - stupid for sending their best team to VNL, or is Serbia smart for treating it as "unimportant"? Maybe people in Serbia's volleyball still didn't get the news that every match counts just the same when it comes to the team rating?

​@@59vlada Prisetimo se samo da je i Terzic uradio istu stvar u VNL 2021 kada je poslao doslovno C tim dok su se glavne igračice odmarale i potom pripremale za Tokio. Manje više istu stvar je uradio sad i Gvideti ali opet ima nekoliko igračica koje su vec godinama deo A tima poput Lozo, Lazovic, Mirkovic, Bjelice koje igraju sada ovo takmičenje, kao i sva 3 libera jer je jasno kao dan da se dvoumi koja ce od njih 3 ici u Pariz. Poredjenje sa Amerikom tek ne stoji jer njihov spektar igračica je toliko širok ali opet vidimo da su prve nedelje poslali izmešan sastav gde su samo Ogbogu i Larson uobičajni starteri.

@59vlada ..I'm OK if we use VNL well as a trial tournament - this year. Same as we did in 2021. We know the main players in our A team, and all of them had a successful season, they're in form and experienced enough. Ranking (and prestige) aside, we're still depending on Maja and Drca. And, it ends, definitely, after the Olympics - a new setter is "a must" in the national team, and it's pretty urgent, agree? Gui also has to find new substitutes on O positions, not necessarily among this selection of players. Ana can't do it, we know for a while.. Bukilic? Glad that she's invited. Let's see who's gonna rise up to the occasion. I can see a few candidates already.

Serbia NEEDS Zoran Terzic! Guidotti is a good coach, but Terzic is extraordinary.

Guidotti is one of the best coaches in the game…nothing much he can do with such a weak team. He even had to beg them in the time out to listen to what he is telling them to do; they are young and inexperienced

Serbia is NEVER a favourite on VNL because we rarely send our best team on this tournament especially if there's a major sport event scheduled in a few weeks, and we already qualified for it (like Olympics 2024 or World championship, etc..)

We're not doing it since 2019. Sometimes, like in 2021, not even a main coach goes with a team. For us this is morr like a trial tournament for mainly youngsters - some of those players might join A team as a bench players in the future.

Team - C? - took a set from DR! Good, very good..

And - if you followed this competition at all, you'd notice that Serbia use it as a trial tournament for entering the A team bench for years now. @@edwinperez7569 I was very clear in my comment. I AM pleasantly surprised that the Serbian C team took a set from Dominicana.. To be honest, I was wondering how our debutantes will play. Can young Kurtagic, along with Osmajic block top class players- they can. Bukilic is a total debutante. I haven't seen her playing for years - she did well, too. Why are you so triggered by a simple fact? This is a team C from Serbia, and they took a set playing for the first time together, some of them never ever playing on the international stage.
