SR Digital EP1 - Isaiah Sharkey 'Origins'
Sound System Digital is an in-depth exploration into the lives of the artists, writers, DJs, and creative collaborators who have played integral roles in sustaining and growing The Silver Room Sound System Block Party's dynamic ecosystem for the past 16 years.
For the next 12 months, we will embark upon a digital journey into the individual worlds of these artists, and each month we will celebrate a creative with an intimate deep dive into the private realms of their backgrounds, creative processes, and future projects.
The purpose of art is to elevate the human condition, and that elevation is needed now more than ever.
At a time when human connection is of the utmost importance, this video series will attempt to engage and connect The Silver Room community and family with the vibrant souls who amplify the pulse of the Annual Sound System Block Party. We invite you to tune in and experience kinship within the artistic relationships we cherish.

probably a "Squier" because it looks like he has done some Mods to it... I mean those things dont come stock with 3 Humbuckers and 3 extra Toggle on the Pickguard :D It looks like it was a perfect guitar to mod and try things out to achieve a tone that he likes himself the most. I mean Gear matters in some way, but those Squier guitars are actually pretty good and I bet his is even better :P

Derwin "Big D" Perkins from New Orleans used to rock the Squier, it seems to work well for that sort of slinky Jazz/Gospel tone.
Well done!! Also love to see artists using Squier's. You don't need Fender on the headstock to sound great.

Theres a cool interview with Zane Carney, who was in johns band before Sharkey, on youtube where he talked about how John goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of his band. The best hotel rooms, buses etc.
