the first time i've ever seen baby squirrels playfighting and I AM LIVING.
I started with 'ITS SO CUTE' and ended with 'YOU GO!! Don't let that snake eat ur kids!'

As a Canadian, I am blessed to be around dozens of squirrels every day. They are smart, bold and cute! Some of them are not afraid of humans, especially in a big city like Montreal for example, because we often feed them. They come in our hand to get peanuts and eat them next to us! Sometimes, if they see that you are not afraid, they will climb on your pants!

Amazing photography, amazing story, amazing world of nature. Let's hope we humans don't destroy the planet and take these wonderful, beautiful, creatures like squirrels down with us. They deserve to live and flourish.

This squirrel has shown how smart an amazing brave creaters they are. Researchers said that squirrels also adopt other squirrel's babies if they become prey.

if she waited like a sitting duck, she AMD her kits would be cornered in their own home with no chance of escape. The snake could clearly smell/taste them from a great distance.

As the squirrel mom isnt able to harm the snake she uses diversion as a tactic to protect her offspring. Many creatures do this if they lack offensive capabilities, birds for example as well.

The squirrel is a mammal, so it can move and fight for a long time while the snake is a reptile, so it can not fight for long and has to rest to get its stamina back. All the squirrel needs to do is tiring the snake up.

I thought mama squirrel would send a distress signal out to Super-Mongoose. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall giraffes in a single bound. Snake has no chance against Mongoose💪!
