I wish you lived closer, I’ve got an armadillo digging the $#it out of my back yard. I shot one last year with the same setup you are using, he made the mistake of coming out in the daytime. 44 grain jsb’s tore him up! I’ve put granules and spray repellent out but I think he likes that stuff cause it hasn’t deterred him at all. If you have any tips (other than sitting on the deck all night long with a spotlight. Lol) I’m all ears…. Love your vids brother, I look forward to them!

It's just 44gr JSB pellets. This very evening I took a deer with one! I am a dealer for JSB and NSA.... I think it is around 940, but I'm not one to always check fps - as long as the game is falling I'm happy. This MK2 has been a dream gun!!!! I would choose it over any in my collection for sure. Blessings my Brother!!!

how do you trained your dog?

Not enough room here to answer very well, but an old great book for training dogs is called "Water Dog" and when I was young I trained Labs for some of the most wealthy people here in GA using that book. The first thing you want to do is teach sit, stay, come. As soon as the puppy can walk start training it to retrieve by throwing small dummies down a long narrow hallway. This will allow you to have control when he is bringing it back. The whole thing is about repetition and spending time training every day. Blue is only one yr old, but I have some videos here when he was only a couple of months old bringing squirrels in, so make sure you watch those my Brother. Tried to reply to you earlier, but I don't see it here, so this is my 2nd attempt. 😀😀😀

Well Thanks Brother You are too Good!!!! From 11 years old I hunted quail in South Ga with my Dad and was able to see three of the best bird dogs in America working together backing each other on point. At 19 I trained Labs and we hunted ducks all of my life. Now those dogs are SMART!!! I just got this puppy, Blue, about a year ago and decided to make a squirrel dog out of 'em. 🤣🤣🤣 So far he is pretty good. You can see some past vids here when he was only a couple of months old retrieving - amazed me how quickly he caught on to what we were doing. God's Blessings to you Sir! Keith
