Tbh .. I actually watched this series for gong yoo .. I watched the series after 2 minutes of its air time.. I didn’t know that it will blast into the world like that .. I also watched the trailer when it had only 4k views ,, I mean they only released it about 3 minutes ago that Time.. only for gong yoo .. I believe most of the first raw watchers watched it for gong yoo .. never knew it will be like this .. I thought he was the main character but anyway I want him to be a big part of this season 2.. the season 1 cast was pretty much over rated .. how could they not give gong yoo the main role ? Can’t wait to see him in the main cast this time

That new cast is actually incredible. They’re all some of my favourite and most talented actors in Kdrama-land. Also I believe all of the new cast have played romantic leads, but also played some darker, more morally ambiguous characters in the past too and so I have no idea what characters to expect they’ll be playing. I’m also just so happy to see Wi Ha Joon back - they never confirmed it and he has so many big upcoming dramas! And of course Gong Yoo too!

The amount of excitement I have for this show is beyond what anyone can begin to comprehend. I'm a big fan of all movies And episodic shows. And video games alike. There is very very little shows/movies/games that I look forward to coming out anymore. And that's mainly because in the last 4 to 5 years the media and entertainment industries have become soulless and greedy cash grabs. However there are select few things I see every once in awhile that truly gives me hope and excitement. I was deeply invested and really really loved watching Squid Games! Was blown Away by just how good the story and writing was and the design of the movie set itself! I cannot wait to see what is coming next, this is something I've been wanting very badly. and I am so happy to see an update about season 2 and the confirmation that the story will be continued!!! I can't wait to see what will continue on after season 1 i can hardly wait!!!! 😊😊

​@@yhey8543 Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he actually end up being one of the leads. He's always either the lead, an important character, or a cameo. Rarely ever seen him as an unimportant side character. Same goes for Jung Jae, Byunghun and Gong Yoo.

I’m going to rewatch season 1 right before season 2 comes out just so I can familiarize myself again of what occurred in season 1❤🎉 can’t wait

Yeah, that was what I did when I realized Alice in borderland season 2 was out. It was like a year ago I watched the first season (the same with squid game) so you really forget what happened in the first season :DD

Oooh, this is a great line-up!!! I'm hyped to see their performances in the series! Gong Yoo at the end too 👀👀 I know it doesn't necessarily confirm a *"bigger"* role or anything but I hope he gets one nonetheless!! After such a long time, we get to see our absolute W MC make an appearance again for the second season, and hopefully he is able to finish things this time!
