Up The Junction great tune . For all you new posh and foreign residents Up the Junction refers to going to Clapham Junction for a night out. The other meaning is " My bird is pregnant " as in the Film of the same name . He reverses the senario in the song as she is now stable and married to a soldier while hes a drunk and gambler so HE is up the Junction😢

Yes spot on , it was a great film of working class London from the60s . Music was by Manfred Mann . A Posh bird from Chelsea goes to sample lower class people ha hah !
